Good to know my Rams are fairly clean.

2013-07-10 07:02:19 AM
I liked them slipping in the little boat logos on the Vikings' timeline.

2013-07-10 07:05:12 AM
Seems to me that Jovan Belcher killing his girlfriend last December before killing himself in the Chiefs parking lot would count as a crime and should make this list, but it didn't.

2013-07-10 07:06:43 AM
How is Hernandez not listed as a gun crime, did he throw the bullets?

2013-07-10 07:08:22 AM
I love the Titus Young era in Detroit.

HaywoodJablonski: I love the Titus Young era in Detroit.

Except he's not even among the arrests. How?

2013-07-10 07:18:59 AM
My favorite part is where they total each teams arrests subtotaling for each type.

2013-07-10 07:20:49 AM
If you go to the source they cited, you can search by team and easily get totals: http://www.utsandiego.com/nfl/arrests-database/

SPOILER: Most teams are in the 10-20 range.  The Vikings and Bengals are at 40.

He had already been cut from the team before he was arrested.

The Falcons are squeaky clean. I guess that whole Vick thing doesn't count.

And the Saints seem to be in the lead for DUI's. Was there ever any doubt?

Shang-High: How is Hernandez not listed as a gun crime, did he throw the bullets?

He Gronk spiked them into the guy.

NVM on the Saints. I thought that was quantity... not just a particular incident.

Now I am surprised.

2013-07-10 07:37:43 AM
The Raiders are surprisingly clean, but then I realized this was the players and not the fans.

2013-07-10 07:43:03 AM
not surprisingly seemingly half the arrests for the titans come from just 2 guys

Looks like the Rams and Falcons need to pick up the slack.

Scroll to the right.  The initial view only shows through mid 2002.  The Vick stuff happened on 2007.

I think the article differentiates between a murder/assault and other gun crimes.  A gun crime for these purposes seems to be bringing a firearm onto an airplane or other nonviolent crimes of that nature.

The inclusion of a boat symbol for the Vikings amuses me.

Philadelphia Eagle fans are probably the worst of all...  yes, even beating out Raider fans.  Don't the still have a jail in the stadium?

Haha, the Giants are very clean, then right after their 2007/8 Super Bowl championship they go bonkers culminating with Plaxico's stupidity, then they settle down again. Love it.

don't forget where they murdered Tom Brady's clutchness and Belicheck's genius defensive schemes.

06/07 looked particularly horrible. Or maybe that was the Denver/bengals lines I was looking at.

Ah yes, but those weren't crimes, that was honorable service to God and country. All NFL fans are forever in debt to the Giants for preventing NE from running the table.

As a Chiefs fan, I would argue that the Jared Allen deewees set the team back at least a decade.

2006... when the Bengals got their reputation.

2013-07-10 09:21:52 AM
Also, must be a Panthers fan that made this, since they decided to stop at 2000.  Wouldn't want to go back one more year.

AverageAmericanGuy: The Raiders are surprisingly clean, but then I realized this was the players and not the fans.

Take away the stuff Darrell Rusell, Sebass and Woodson did before they got drafted and they're practically Mormons compared to the guys in the 70's and 80's.

2013-07-10 09:28:04 AM
I really expected more out of the Eagles.

2006: Dhani Jones arrested in South Beach for failure to stop dancing.

They've fallen a long way since Buddy Ryan led them to victory in the Bounty Bowl.

The Eagles haven't played in the Vet since '02.  It's a parking lot now.

Who indeed?  I don't see any totals.

Mateorocks: As a Chiefs fan, I would argue that the Jared Allen deewees King Carl's inability to put a defense together set the team back at least a decade.

I know, it was the fact that they had a courthouse in the basement of the stadium.  They have obviously stepped up security measures and have became more strict with enforcing the laws and regulations of the stadium.  Do you think that the die hard Eagle fans learned how to behave.  HAHAHAHAHAHA!  No, I doubt they did.  Most of them just can't afford to go to The Link.

If he wasn't arrested (because he was dead), I don't think it qualifies. I see why they'd base it off arrests rather than allegations, but it does seem to omit Belcher.

That's because our heroes narrowly miss the definition of being on the team when they commit ... these sorts of things.

Mike Vrabel was accused of stealing beer from a casino?  How the hell do you steal beer from a place that gives away drinks for free?

I think most stadiums have holding cells.

Nevermind. In my previous post I pointed out that this wasn't possible and shared how you could see the totals, then immediately saw this post.
