It's "natural gas" which is different from methane gas, in the same way collateral damage is different from dead civilians.

You see, Talos is Houston-based. That means America. Even though Talos is an amalgamation of internationally-owned oil companies, it says right there in the press release, "Houston-Based". Another cool thing about Talos is their specialty is shallow water drilling. They're not good at it, it's just their specialty.
