Ishkur: What the hell did I just watch?

Was it a plug for the hybrid industry, car batteries, cadmium manufacturers, Canada, or the new Whose Line?

Seemed more like anti-hybrid agit-prop.

The most obvious clue was that most hybrid car batteries get recycled; they don't typically end up in landfills.  And certainly not after a mere 100,000 miles.

Any Pie Left: Aren't the Prius batteries lithium and not cadmium?

Yes. Plus recycled. NiCad went away years ago because of cycle and memory issues.

mudpants: who the fark is Brad Sherwood?

The British show had Ryan and Colin as mainstays and a rotating cast for the other two (too many list, most of them Brit comedians who frequent other quiz/talk shows like QI and WILTY)...this included Wayne Brady, Greg Proops, Brad Sherwood and Chip Esten.

The US show had Ryan, Colin and Wayne as mainstays and a much smaller rotating cast of American comics in the fourth slot, almost always either Greg Proops, Brad Sherwood or Chip Esten. But occasionally they had some high profile guest like Robin Williams and Stephen Colbert (well, before he was Col-bear).
