Finally some good DL news for Yankees fans as A-Rod goes hitless again against Single A pitchers

For you?  No.  For A-Rod?  Sure!

Nefarious: Finally some good DL news for Yankees fans as A-Rod goes hitless again against Single A pitchers

If I'm the Yankees, I'd move their Single-A affiliate up to Fort McMurray, Alberta, or somewhere else really goddamn remote just so Cashman could enjoy the gratification of knowing he sent A-Rod to a place where no possible farks could be given.

Why? Was there a "hasn't fielded for shiat" count for Jeter?

Oh look, the Yankees.

We've seen enough years of Jeter to know that's not true.  I recall on a couple of occasions through his slumps that his one hit out of many outs will be an accidental opposite field hit or a dribbler through the hole and he'll be lauded for "finding a way"
He's earned it, but let's not kid anyone.

It is notoriously difficult to field as a DH, but I'm sure the NY Post will get right on that.

You're damned right! :-)

I didn't realize until recently how much I'll miss seeing Jeter, Mariano Rivera in the league. Hopefully they'll be around as coaches.

If you're female, willing to commute to NYC, and love gift baskets, I may have a solution for you.

Jeter should remember how they dumped Bernie Williams and Posada. I guess he is not going to bow out gracefully.

I think most Yankee people would say that he's got too much class to try and stick around after he's become worthless, and I'd like to agree with them, but everyone's got pride.  I guess we'll have to wait and see.
