Sigh.  I can't believe you people buy into this shiat.

Yawn, old news.  If you listen to MSNBC, you'll see that he already does that.

Doesn't seem like the article discussed anything apart from age-old conditioning techniques.

I tell you what's really scary.  The government is in cahoots with the tin foil industry.  Some 30 years ago they started putting microcircuitry in the foil to amplify and focus the mind control rays.  You can't see it because it's sandwiched between the two thin layers that make up the foil.  It's some bugfark scary stuff out there

If it really works can we use it on Dan Aykroyd and get him to shut up about Ghostbusters 3?

That's how they get people to vote democratic.

It's quite easy to tell.  If there is a thought in your head that conflicts in any way with Tea Party philosophy, it was planted there by the S0r0s/0bama Lib Ray.

I usaully ignore (or at least look askance at) any article that uses the "some people say" ploy
I'm looking at you daily newspapers - just because "some people say/claim/are unappy" doesn't mean it warrants mention in your article

Seems like a needlessly complicated method to accomplish what the TV already does to so many people. And it's easy to 'read' someones mind when they're so very average and predictable. "Bob is thinking of food and porn. Also how brown people in the middle east must be killed in order to spawn Jesus".

That's even better than the tinfoil conspiracy.  I love it.  I think we all should spread it as widely as possible just to muck things up.

DARPA is closer, with identification of individuals now proposed by the unique ways in which we use touch or keystrokes on communication devices.  Hence, no more PIN or passwords.  The machines will just *know* who you are.  See, I've done some IT contract work for the DOD and - aw, shiat.

Hold on - my front door was just blown off the hinges.  Better go see wh....

Sure, and while we're at it let's report on the flier I see taped up downtown trying to convince people that their internal monologue is actually government satellites beaming corporate signals into their heads.

Well duh, what do you think the TV is?  A box in every living room in the nation spouting out words and images that would not have been in that room otherwise, but at least the TV has an off button.   I'm sure They would be happier if they could tap in to your head 24/7.

There's actually a long history of the military being able to put voices in peoples heads. But like i already said, it's simpler and cheaper to just influence people the old fashioned way.

They've already made Ghostbusters 3. It was available for pretty much all the major game platforms.

THIS ^
HEADLINE: "Some people are saying the human brain could be hacked and Obama could plant thoughts into your head. "The true irony of the above statement is that the people saying these things are highly likely to be FOX news watchers.  FOX news is quite literally a conservative propaganda outlet.

Keep telling yourself that. But Old Man Aykroyd's been talking about a new movie for years. He's been getting more and more vocal about it too.

Seriously? No Alpha Centauri quotes yet?

"I think, and my thoughts cross the barrier into the synapses of the machine - just as the good doctor intended. But what I cannot shake, and what hints at things to come, is that thoughts cross back. In my dreams the sensibility of the machine invades the periphery of my consciousness. Dark. Rigid. Cold. Alien. Evolution is at work here, but just what is evolving remains to be seen."

Yes, the private sector can do that too, and of course they're using it for advertising.  Tin foil won't protect you though.
