I submitted one, maybe you should to just to add more to the que.

I hope Djokovic is prepaird for the partisan nature of centre court. Last year was much more polite as the Wimboldon fans like Federer but now the gloves will be off.

Bonus its the hottest weekend all year in Britian

A Tennis thread?
On Fark?
I don't believe it.

Also, there's nothing wrong with the #1 and #2 seed being in the finals.

Don't have a lot of confidence, but really pulling for Murray. It'd help if he drops his habit of playing one terrible set per match.

Already submitted before this.  Hoping that they would greenlit before the second or third tire blowout.

I think Djokovic earned a good amount of good will during the semi-finals.  Not that I expect centre court to cheer for him, but I don't think they'll be completely hostile to him either.

Me too.  I don't understand how hard it is to set a thread to green for 7AM the night before.  It's not like every race thread that gets greened on time has 2-3 hundred comments.

Massa is already out.

Gah, I wish McEnroe would shut up about what he use to do.

Yeah, I wish that they would give a better replay of what happened.

I like the knee-high cameras next to the track.

I don't think they will be activly hostile but they will cheer on Murry and will not hold back like they do with Federer.

He and Force India's brakeman can go form their own team.

I'd be surprised at this point if Weber even gets on the plane for Hungary. He's gonna be pissed

2013-07-07 08:20:17 AM
Now why could that have not happened to Vettel?

2013-07-07 08:20:43 AM
Poor Webber is like Red Bull's neglected stepchild.

Also fark tennis.

Wasn't the wheelman's fault, they did not indicate they were done.  Jack man screwed up.

Crazy tennis match imagery with this combined coverage - fodder for photoshop entry.Skid marks, pit row, strawberries and cream

And Webber is 95 seconds back from the last of 6 cars that form a moveable chicane.

Can't blame him for when the nut won't stay in, unless he just let it go without caring.

Narrative building: This is going to be an ugly final.

I like how the match has started and yet there is still no actual tennis discussion in this thread.

Both David Camaron and Alex Salmon get booed by the crowd on the hill. Good times good times

2013-07-07 09:27:03 AM
Nice comeback from Djokovic in the opening game. 0-40 down and he still didn't even look like losing.

Murray has a big task ahead of him.

2013-07-07 09:37:37 AM
Murray with the first break.

2013-07-07 09:44:40 AM
Djokovic breaks back.

This match could take some time

2013-07-07 09:52:23 AM
Lots of unforced errors during this set for Djok

2013-07-07 09:53:13 AM
and he ends it with another unforced error.

2013-07-07 09:56:22 AM
Now Murray seems to have caught the disease.
