Ah, yes, needless revenge ending in collective suicide. You probably need to go to Japan to make Kriemhild look sane in comparison.

Maybe its more like Ronin Warriors

If we're lucky, Keanu plays the guy who commits seppuku early in the movie.

The only Ronin movie I want to see...

Maybe it's because I've actually met the guy and known him off & on for the past two decades, but I kind of cringe at the word "legendary" being placed upon him. He's a swell guy and there's no dispute on that. Just that to call someone "legendary" tends to elevate him to a godly status, and he's just too modest for something like that.

PS:

Back when DVD's were all the cool hotness, I took a bunch of UY videos featuring Stan (interviews, The UY appearances in the 80's TMNT cartoon before the series ever came out on DVD, etc.) and burned him a disc (which was still expensive in those days). This was the graphic design a friend had made for the CD case, based on my suggestion.

Well, at least you over grown children aren't watching cartoons about 7 year old Japanese girls.

Yep, it's one of the few comics I read anymore. I always look forward to summer when the new Usagi Yojimbo graphic novels are released.

Holy hell. I had not heard of this before now. WANT.

...the books, not the movie, especially if they're going to screw it up.

To be honest, I'm more looking for a Lone Wolf and Cub movie--sans Keanu Reeves. Even the Francisco Ruis Velasco version would be nice--it was oddly satisfying and his art was gorgeous.

All I know is it took way to long for anything to actually happen in that book.  I know that's a Japanese thing, but it baffles me.  If it wasn't a supposed classic I never would have finished it.

The sad fact about comics fans is that there's more ramen than ronin about them.
