I was at a show once where one of the "performers" did a piece like this. She had microphones picking up the sounds of her mixing and making waffles, and the sounds where then looped and echoed Frippertronics-style.

It sucked as much as this link did; I can recall actually getting angry at the fact that I had to pretend that that was art.
