No injuries, no arrests? Was it a pillow fight?

You don't have to go home but you can't stay here.

Weenerser in article:

And at 1:30 am all the drunken patrons were told to go home.

But not via the T, because that had been closed for an hour already, so they drove.

We already know Tebow's penchant for bar fights. He probably talked the officers out of arresting anybody.

Sounds to me more like one of the officers is retiring and 149 other cops wanted an excuse to buy him some drinks.

In that area next to Fanueil Hall there's a bunch of bars that attract frat boys with an attutude and every idiot guy and their women from North of Boston. I went to a bar near there, Jose McIntyres, and had some drunk short dude trying to pick a fight with me all night and hitting on my friend's girlfriend all night long.

150 cops? They should have brought in flame throwers and torched every single bar in those few blocks.

Looks like the cops wanted a little more time-and-a-half for working on the 4th.

/Or is it double for holidays?

This place just opened up - used to be McFaddens.  I did hear that the new owners fixed up the place quite a bit.  It's actually a 'chain' of four places - they also have locations in Southie, Quincy and Waltham.

A friend owned a bar - O'Quigleys - one bar fight in 8 years - 4 off duty cops

Probably the best PR for the Boston PD after reading here a few days back about heavy security for 4th.

AllUpInYa: Was it a Dropkick Murphys show?

That was the first thing that came to my mind too.
