Yeah, Hanson.

Because when I think beer I want something 21 year old American kids brewed. Unshakable experience and taste await.

That is actually surprising.    Gene Simmons would market his grandmother's toenails if he thought he could make a buck.

I haven't seen it in a while, but there used to be Jerry Garcia wine too.  I don't think he actually stomped the grapes himself especially since it only appeared after he passed away.

And there's also Francis Ford Coppola and Marilyn Monroe wine.

Putting your name on a label doesn't make you a brewer.

I didnt read the article but I know of some metal and hard rock bands/bandmembers that got into beer and wine "making". A while back I heard of Motörhead wine and an Iron Maiden beer. I think I remember Vince Neil marketing some booze. Noone has the booze selling down like Jimmy Buffet and Sammy Hagar though.

Anyone have a good angle on where to find Trooper Ale in the U.S.? Eastern U.S.? PA? The website takes me on a wild goose chase of disappointment.

As soon as Maiden's beer appears on these shores, I'll be all over it, but until then- Sammy has a succsessful tequila, because it's farking amazing.

In the late 90's they did a Grateful Dead line of wines.  A buddy of mine spent some coin and had all of them thinking they would be worth something someday.  I think, at best, they were sub-par and if IIRC he stored them wrong and the corks dried up and they got skanky.

If were going to go down this route they they should be considering Rogue'e "Dead Guy" Ale.  It's a damned good beer.

I manage a bar in Minneapolis, and I had to pre-order kegs a couple of weeks ago through a distributor.  The beer is supposed to show up sometime in August in Minnesota, maybe a little earlier on the East coast.

Not sure what part of PA you're looking for but there's a place called exit 190 beer deli in Dickson City (a town next to Scranton) that sells all of the specialty beers albeit in limited quantities. May be worth a phone call. I went there to buy the ommegang game of throne's beer for a friend. They had an impressive selection of beers.
