Considering they refer to it as a Mall Ninja weapon, I'm pretty sure they're completely self-aware of how stupid it is.  The damn thing weighs more than a 7.62mm M240L.

It's meant as a fun gun, Subby, not a serious tool.

Eric and Barry make great videos.  I highly recommend their Gun Gripes and Gun Facts episodes.  Their Hi-Point torture test was great too.

It's both a display case for different tactical add-on's and an ironically displayed joke from a man that makes his living selling such equipment.

Meh, this isn't a serious thing, sometimes gunsmiths will make a gun like this just to see if it can be done.

/ it's not like anyone is going to buy a Swiss-army gun

If I saw a guy at the range with this I'd walk over and slap him. Not worried about retribution as whoever would buy this has no idea how to use a firearm anyway.

2013-07-04 02:42:54 PM
how does that qualify as "screwing around" over "being retarded"?

Are you kidding? I've used 3-scope rifles and they're awesome. When you line up 3 scopes in series you can sight in on targets 6 miles away! And with multiple tac lites you can even illuminate the target!

and I don't think there is any credence to the " they build it just to see if they can" idea.. you don't need to build a keyboard with fifteen extra "semicolon" keys to know it's possible, or pointless.  This is just stupid indulgent crap that fuels the people who think all gun owners are idiot rednecks.

which they are. excluding myself.

What happens when the crappy plastic handle breaks? You should get a solid steel wrecker's tool, they are the equivilant of a medieval warhammer.

Less reliable than bar mags, and god knows you don't want unreliable feeding when fighting the end of the world.

Although, what possessed them to use poly mags I'll never know.  Those things are a nightmare for speed reloads.

Dude, that's like $20,000 worth of gun. You could buy 7 or 8 crates of mosin-nagants for that. Their ammo is 1000% easier and cheaper to get. Also, a mosin doesn't weigh 21 pounds.

Plus, why would you get an AA-12; when you could get a Saiga 12?

/ you wouldn't last a mile carrying all that crap on your back

I have seen stupidier stuff on that show  Sons of Guns.  Stop watching after they turned an Ak-47 into a sniper rifle.  Seems they never heard of a Dragunov.  Also they came up with a stupid rig so 3 Ar-15s could function of of one trigger pull-ruined 3 ARs IMHO.

Contrary to what you've seen in Highlander, Kill Bill, The Walking Dead, and your favorite anime, katanas aren't actually useful for decapitation.

I hate that shiat too, and the manufactured drama of reality TV. But I do like seeing all the old historical guns that come into the shop like the Lahtis and Solothurns.

I guess it would be a good weapon for fast zombies.

IV8888? In a Fark thread? Huh.

Anyway, as pointed out, it's intentionally the most ridiculously overaccessorized gun. It's a tongue-in-cheek love letter to SHTF preppers who take the potential for some apocalyptic situation a bit too seriously at times. That, and it's just fun to see what the fark you can ultimately put on those things.

I remember they made a twin-mount M16, supposedly for a contract for the Naval Special Warfare Command, to put on a SWCC boat.  It was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen.  Then they had some fat guy show up in ill-fitting fatigues, claiming to be the Naval officer in charge of the program, who was apparently the only SEAL in history to not know what an M249 was.

Keep yer pants on yeh nancies, it's <i>supposed</i> to be absurd. I'd trust this guy over your typical gun "enthusiast" any day. At least he has a sense of humor about it.

I saw the dumbass tag, and then read as afar as the words "gun enthusiast". At this point it became redundant and I lost interest.

3) Some sort of wide-bladed spearpoint on about 5 feet of shaft (easy to make/replace/use)
4) Twizzlers (never been a big gum fan)
5) Top of the line hiking boots

Well, it's still pretty easy to find, go to hand tools, then to pry bars, then to the set of 3 pry bars (the ones that look like a bar with a pry on one side and a spike like handle) you could murder any number of zombies with one of those bad boys.

Didn't we learn anything from the Battle of Yonkers? Semi-autos with a good assault scope and phosphor rounds. One aimed shot into the head. Brains are cooked. Zombies are dead. But, you yahoos go on and pump loads of wasted bullets into their torsos. Great jorb when dealing with an enemy that doesn't feel pain, cannot succumb to fear and will keep trying to kill you as long as their brain is still mostly intact.

Tweezlers? Tell you what, I'm just going to throw you to the zombies right now. It's Red Vines or it's nothing. You probably like Mr. Pibb, too, don't you?
