Rick Perry could mouth-rape a female intern on national TV and Texas Republicans would still think he's the second coming of St. Reagan. F*ck Rick Perry, and f*ck misogynistic Texas Republicans.

You're right that would waste perfectly good toxic waste. They'll drown their own damn selves in it once we pull the EPA from them.

I heard via the rightwing grape vine that Governor Rick Perry is building a militia to take down the President in the next week.

He's really the poster child for the arrogant radical right wingers making up the bulk of the GOP these days, right down to probably not believing half the shiat he says but acting on it as long he can put a buck or two in his pockets.

Who knows what that idiot thinks or believes? His whole political career is based on a good head of hair, and probably, given the fact he's a former Yell Leader, the ability to give a decent blowjob.

Who keeps voting for this guy? I lived in Texas for 4 years, and I can attest that they are not all morans. Ann Richards was Governor then. What the hell happened?

I have no recollection of where I've heard this, so if I'm just regurgitating incorrect information then feel free to correct me, but I've heard that statistically women get (or at least feel) sick more often than men (decreasing their overall productivity). Combine that with the constant threat of lost productivity if a woman becomes pregnant, and I could understand why at least a large employer would want to hedge their bets by paying them less than men.

Old white people got older, drank too much, went to church too much, and now suffer from some form of pre-Alzheimer's dimentia is my guess.

And gerrymandering and massive amounts of money from rich people.

Several countries in Asia provide menstrual leave, some of them even paid days off.

Severe Dysmenorrhea got me fired from several jobs in a right-to-work state here in the good 'ol US of A. What am I supposed to do? Stop being a woman?

You may have a point there.

Women have long suffered from pay inequity: 77 cents for every dollar men make nationally, 82 percent of what men are paid in Texas, according to theAmerican Association of University Women.

Nice to know the AAUW is still using decades-old poorly wrought statistics

It takes balls to mouth rape a female intern on national TV.

/Anyone get the reference.

2013-07-03 09:39:59 PM
The measure would have allowed women - and others discriminated against on the basis of race, national origin, age, religion or disability - to sue within 180 days of each new discriminatory paycheck, rather than 180 days of the employer setting the pay.

Hey GOP, how's that outreach to women and minorities working out for you?

So, if theDemocratic party can reliably get Texas and California, what realistic hopes do Republicans have of winning the White House?

Combine that with the proven fact that women don't belong in the workplace & you've got yourself a scientific law.

consider yourself corrected :)

i'd also like to point out that if male employers really feel pregnancy is a "constant threat" to workplace productivity they really ought to lobby for birth control coverage - personally? I had one child in the 17 years I worked for the same employer - i worked until the day i delivered and was "telecommuting" within a week because my family needed my (larger) paycheck.

I have to disagree with this part
Perry is perhaps mulling another presidential run. Vetoes like this - and unabated fervor in fighting the abortion culture wars - will ensure any next run ends just as the first did.

No if he keeps this up he might win the nomination, would only start hurting him in the general election

Oh Yeah and once a month they slough off something "down there", I really dont want to know, but you have to put special machines in the bathroom and stuff.

Although it is hard to predict such things, I will bet that the Republicans will dominate state legislatures and then perhaps pass laws such that electoral votes get split up proportionally.  You can guess the rest.

Yabut. If the Democrats realize they can reliably win Texas and California, what realistic hopes do Americans have of the Democrats stopping themselves from becoming just as stupid and evil as the Republicans?

Plus, I've never heard him not sound completely intoxicated when he's talking. Either he's constantly farked up, or he has some kind of brain problem, either way, it seems to work wonders with his base. I guess they feel they can relate.

Citation for what?

That men do more dangerous jobs than women do and get compensated for it?

Find me the womans equivlant of a roughneck oil field worker.

Find me the womans equivlant of a deckhand on a crab boat on the Bering Sea.....

They are taking the averages and comparing them.

There are jobs that are mostly done by women and jobs that are mostly done by men.

Should a motel housekeeper get 40k for a couple weeks work like a deckhand on a crab boat?

Do we need a law for that?
