Maybe because people hate Bedbugs and Beyond? (joke from a deceased friend)  Dunno.  I can't shop there more than once a year myself; spend too much money, come out with waaay too much cool stuff.  I love that store, I truly, truly do.  About time for my semi-annual trip too :)

And yes, I do shop there 2 times a year, but 1 is pre-planned with a budget and a list.  The other is free-form, I give myself a small treat around the holidays when I get a bonus.

Does "small treat" mean you allow yourself to light something on fire?  You can tell me, we're cool.

Eh NO.

That's what sprinklers and insurance are for.

(The extinguishers are just there to satisfy the building code, nobody actually fights fires with them anymore what are you nuts?)

Don't try to be a hero.
You might make a mistake.
Or get sued.
Just walk away.

Lost a friend in the Station fire. I have a hard time laughing at Great White jokes. Yes, I know. It's Fark.

You notice a fire starting in the bedding section of Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Do you:

A. Move quickly towards the exit to avoid being burned alive.
B. Alert other shoppers so they don't get burned alive.
C. Pull out your cell phone to record a 22-second video for YouTube.

Darwin almost got that one.

Yeah, that's not going to bring the people you didn't help back.
