Could someone photoshop Snyder and Davis onto a Dumb and Dumber: The Elder Years poster.

I'm 90% sure it can be pulled off.

There are worse sins than a one time $3 million contract settlement.  Bobby Bonilla just received his annual $1.19 million payment from the Mets.   He's owed the same amount every year until 2035.  He hasn't played since 2001.

im sure lots of teams do that.....the D-Backs just within the last 1-2 years, finally cleared deferred salaries to several players on the 2001 WS team, most notably Matt Williams and Curt Schilling.

I think we're still paying Bernard Gilkey through something like 2015 or some shiat, and he also hasn't played since aruond 2001.  nutty.

good problem to have, though, right?  "what's this?  oh yeah.  my annual $1M check for doing nothing...."

Bonilla was a genius for taking that salary as an annuity. His agent started going around trying to get his other players to do the same thing but they all wanted all the money now.

I am more bothered by the 'big business screws worker out of contractual compensation' aspect of this than I am the 'draft bust still getting paid' aspect.  Hold out all your want NFL players, the teams are out to screw you and that's the game that really matters!

/doesn't like holdouts
//doesn't like workers losing compensation
///don't care about JR
////There are four slashies!
