Did he get a lot of money out of it, or is he screwed?

The ex-CEO is a juggalo?..

I see miracles all around me
Stop and look around, it's all astounding
Water, fire, air and dirt
farking magnets, how do they work?

This album rocks harder than a two-for-one day spa coupon.

Is it a catch-22?

I'd take his hand with my glove of love.
Can I borrow a feeling?

he didn't get any severance.

his net worth increased as a result of his firing; he still owns 46 million shares of Groupon.

at IPO he was worth about $1.2 billion (on paper), when he was fired he was worth $250 million. Since his firing, the stock price has doubled.

Groupon was a clever idea, but it was too easy to mimic. Now we face a wave of other ousted CEO's releasing albums.

Hmm, maybe if he had an MBA he would have better followed better fundamentals.

Another entrepreneur tried this before with equally good results.

From what I understand he looted the investors when he ran the company.  I doubt an MBA would have taught him much better than that.

In fairness, all an MBA does for you is get you a job working for someone else, usually.

Most successful business owners I know don't have a clue what they're "supposed to" be doing as a business owner and just wing it.  Wing it for decades.  As soon as they get out of their element they hire a specialist... like a tax-prep :P
