that was profoundly mediocre.

Does Farrell run around shouting "I have an ERECTION, I HAVE AN ERECTION" ?  Doe he make a lot of poop jokes?

Clearly he is the greatist humourist of all times.

I chuckled...the first 30 seconds....

Finally, douchey hipster music I can listen to, and accept.

I dunno. That was the only part I actually laughed at, though it was more of a single ha than a true chortle. It wasn't terrible but there so many better things to watch on youtube.

I refuse to believe anything related to The Lumineers can be "great."

Why do male musicians have to dress like 1930's hobos these days?

And where do you even go to buy clothes like that?

Meh

The Junkman's Daughter in Atlanta Little Five Points      =]

Or, you know, Goodwill or a thrift store...

I like this song, but I know it's being driven into the ground.

Not including Walk off the Earth, since I find "Red Hands" catchy at the moment.

Yeah, not bad, but it's no Taylor Swift goat or Nickelback screeching rooster (which I sadly can no longer find).

or you have a better sense of humor.  ferrell as harry carey will always make me chuckle but the presence of that song contributes nothing to the cause.

Anthem for dirty hipster wannabes. Just break out the oversized knit hats and artisanally rolled clove cigarettes, why don't you?

So, someone took an ok song and overlayed a one-note joke that a mediocre comedian did a decade ago...  that's some great internetting there Lou.

Will Ferrell is not now, nor has he ever been or ever will be funny. Why the fark do people like that tool?

He was great at Second City, but I have not seen anything he has done since he sold out and went to SNL.

Meaning the song has been officially mashed and placed in the background of every video in existence.

I'm pretty sure I saw a tampon commercial last week that was using it.

2013-07-03 11:48:46 AM
Not as good as the Chickeneers.

2013-07-03 12:59:29 PM
This could only improve that song.

I pleased to see an adequate number of people/trolls in this thread who dont think Will Farrell is funny. Even one tool who said Second City was the pinnacle of his career lol! I'm always curious as to what people find funny if they dont think Farrell is. Enlighten me guys!

I would not like it with a goat.
I would not like it on a boat.

Thank you. I would never have been able to thumbs-down that video if you hadn't told me about it,  subby.

2013-07-03 02:15:56 PM
Two things....

1. That song is not terrible. It's a fun song. Not sure why so many people in here like to hate on it.

2. Will is a pretty funny guy. Some of his comedy is bland and overdone nowadays, but he still has some hilarious moments.

With those things said, that mash-up was really not that funny/entertaining.

Nice to hear from the middle American bumpkin crowd.  He was already DaneCooked at Second City.  I have a few of his tapes from USC and they are hilarious.

Apparently, I'm no expert on comedy, or musical trends, like many of the above poster kids, but I will say one thing about the video: meh.

2013-07-03 11:28:44 PM
The Lumineers' album is great.  Little bit of early Ryan Adams, little bit of Dylan.
