Nah, seriously... Social Media belongs to the 800 pound gorilla, so FB can probably hold their lead for the next 5-6 years until someone else comes up with a killer social media app that bypasses some of the faults of FB. I have an idea for what could kill FB but I'm gonna hold onto that one in case I can make it work. Or make it sellable to FB. But social media is always going to be about having critical mass of users.

Bebo... Never anything big. I'd suggest making it into a RPG character repository and people could have their alts live out a more varied social life than their users. Yes, since people won't be using their real names you'll have trolls, but also orcs and elves.
