BunkoSquad: Jesus Christ, that schmuck couldn't even win an election in his own house
parasol: I remember this! It goes:"Yeah? So WHAT? I didn't want to .......... ANYway!"Parents of small children, ya with me?
clambam: The other Romneys must have been given the wrong date for the vote.
what_now: That is such fng revisionist history. Mitt was elected as Governor of Massachusetts in 2002. By 2004, he had taken a HARD right turn, reversing his opinion on choice, gay rights, stem cell research and taxes. It was very clear that he considered being our governor a stepping stone to the Presidency.
gimmegimme: BunkoSquad: Jesus Christ, that schmuck couldn't even win an election in his own houseHe didn't even get 47%!
BunkoSquad: clambam: The other Romneys must have been given the wrong date for the vote.Bapp didn't have the two forms of ID that Romney family votes require, and Pimm was scared away by a Black Panther (which may actually have been a coat)
Fart_Machine: Yeah but who trusts an internet poll really.
Jackson Herring: well we all know what befall Bapp for giving that fateful bit of advice....[i.imgur.com image 428x87]rumor has it, Romney had the Stericycle invoice framed
what_now: If there is a God, Mitt Romney will run again in 2016. For the lulz.
Kittypie070: Even up until the day before he made the announcement, he was looking for excuses to get out of it.Holy sh*t.THEN YOU SHOULDA MANNED UP, WILLARD AND SAID NO.
Mikey1969: Over the Christmas break of 2010, Mitt Romney and his family took an internal poll on whether he should run for president once more. Twelve family members cast ballots. Ten said no. One of the 10 was Mitt Romney himself.THEN WHY THE FARK DID YOU HAVE A VOTE?!?!?!Seriously, what's the point of having the family vote if you're going to let 1/5 of the voters make the decision for you, even to the point of going against your OWN choice? This just makes him look even stupider.BTW Subby, didn't realize that Foinsap was a Don Martin/Mad Magazine thing. Nice call.
nmrsnr: To be fair, though, he did run his campaign as if he were deliberately trying to lose, so this does explain that.
Kittypie070: And what was all that trumped up hullabaloo about an alleged White Horse Prophecy, anyway?
