Who says juries only care about what's in the snack machine.

2013-07-01 09:29:49 PM
Good. This was a stupid prosecution to begin with.

2013-07-01 09:29:50 PM
Good.

So, what is the over-under for how long until Jeff Olson is on the receiving end of a drone strike?

2013-07-01 09:30:12 PM
Too bad the defendant can't be reimbursed by the city for attorney costs.

The Prosecutor and Bank of America should be liable for all court costs.

Good for the jury.

I wonder if anyone on the jury thought to themselves, "13? 13 years for drawing with chalk? This is pants on head stupid."

If this woman got two days in jail in San Diego for running over and killing a nanny and injuring a baby, then this guy sure as hell doesn't deserve any time.

He should be sent to San Quentin along with 6 year old girls who draw hopscotch squares on the sidewalk. Those dastardly criminals!

I just grounded my son for 20 years for drawing on the walls with crayons.

For some reason, "I was tired" and "I couldn't see" are considered valid excuses in this country for murdering people with your car. Funny how those same reasons don't seem to work with guns, knives, explosives, etc.

And, if I may say so to the NSA officer watching Fark this evening, Bank of America can get shafted up the ass with rusty bedsprings.

Awesome, I'm totally doing this to National Shiatty (aka PNC or whatever they decide to call themselves today). Of course I think political slogans are a bit tame... I was thinking of a giant peen with the CEO's face getting a nice big sploosh from said peen.

I hope not. He lives like 50 feet away from me. Although I am sure there are Farkers that wouldn't mind if old titwrench suffered some collateral damage.

Great. Now call Banksy, and give him a 48-hour project in Wall Street.

So will readers have the urge to "vandalize" BOA branch locations with chalk?  Is it open season?

What a colossal waste of time and money.  Good on the jury.

Graffiti should be punished harshly.

Maybe not life in prison, but shiat graffiti is obnoxious. Political or not.

//There's a local guy who puts up this big picture of a bird everywhere.

I'm waiting for the ones from yesterday's thread that were convinced he should be convicted to admit they were wrong in their predictions yesterday.

/I know, won't happen

good this shiat should have been tossed by the judge before it went to a full trial.

2013-07-01 09:48:58 PM
yeah, good - there's still hope for this country yet.

The fact that charges were brought against this guy in the first place is still a bit disturbing though.

If I were an activist - or maybe if I had any balls - I'd start chalking sidewalks in front of banks where I live.

The "cleaning" in this case would involved hooking up a hose and spraying it down for all of 10 minutes.

Which, according to BofA, costs $6,000.

That's different.

That's grounds for justifiable homicide, to any parent who's had to scrub Hello Kitty faces off of a bathroom wall for the 79th time.

My son will be breathing a sigh of relief, since he'd be next if Chase got wise to the possibilities. Here's what he was doing last summer: http://www.dailybulletin.com/rss/ci_21363657?source=rss

To remove spray paint you need chemicals and/or a powerwasher.
To remove chalk you need a bucket of water.
Big difference.
