He means that Snowden needs to stop leaking things to the press and start leaking to the SVR.

"He said Snowden should choose his final destination and go there. "

So Snowden should choose death by roller coaster, highway accident or plane explosion?

Is it bad that I see Pooty Poot and the first thing that comes to mind is not Vladimir Putin, but a number of congresscritter blowhards that have opened their pieholes on this matter that the nickname could be easily applied to?

Cause if Snowden was a russian agent and ratted out Putin they would polonyanise him?

Cause Russia knows we spy on Americans the same way they spy on russians?

Cause as the former head of the KGB Putin knows everyone spies on everyone?

Well, to be fair, if Snowden was looking for some support in his crusade against spying, a guy who really can only be described as a former KGB agent insofar as the KGB no longer exists probably wasn't the best person to look to.

There is almost certainly a deadman switch on whatever remaining material he has.  If he doesn't check in with a few servers every few hours, they automatically release it all.

If Snowden is considered not to be in Russia yet, since he hasn't passed through Customs, what's to stop the CIA or FBI from flying over there and hauling him back to the US?

The USA generally doesn't do things quite so publicly. Three letter agencies are like cockroaches. They don't come out in the light and they remember who cast light on them. Snowden's day will come. He's on someone's termination list. For now he's safe. they won't put a bullet in him with all the media attention. If they did get him somehow, they wouldn't haul him back, he'd probably be killed in a terrible accident. A rogue drone or something.

Well, for starters, they don't know exactly  where in the airport he currently is. It's possible he's holed up in the "prison hotel" under armed guard.

I know Americans for some reason don't get news, but only pretend news stations.

Heads up, Putin offered Snowden political asylum.

I know you struggle with reading comprehension but it's been discussed at length in this article.  And it is clearly conditional asylum for silence.  Which Putin says, won't happen.  So he needs to leave.

You know I what? What the fark, are you from the NSA? :P

What I gather is that the conditions is no active further leaks from his part, not silence, as in he'll still have his free speech.
