I'll be flying to Berlin tomorrow from Hong Kong, with a 2 hour layover in Moscow, arriving at Terminal F. If I see him,* is there anything anybody wants me to say to him?

*Putin or Snowden

I will not read any article that spells Ecuador as "Equador". In the headline of all places.

Putin: Don't bother saying anything to him. Not worth the risk.

Snowden: Good luck!

Honestly, I'm ambivalent, and I tend to be with big news cases like these, because I can't really trust anything anyone is saying. It's all posturing. I'm glad Snowden exposed the surveillance, maybe the US will finally get knocked off that high horse we've been sitting on for far too long. Maybe once we finally have to admit we're not queen shiat anymore, then we can give an honest look to the problems inside our country, instead of preaching to others how they are supposed to run theirs. It's hollow advice when you've got a rotting core.

I suppose my best wishes are that Snowden ends up in Ecuador with Assange. They're kinda unlawful good, like Batman. They do the shiat good people with authority would do if they didn't have a social conscience or their careers to think about.

Putin insists the 30-year-old former NSA contractor remains in the transit zone of Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport and that as long as he has not legally entered Russia, he is out of the Kremlin's contro

I know this is done deliberately, so people who are just passing through on international flights don't have to clog up customs, but...

This convention only goes so far.  If I'm a fugitive wanted for raping and murdering 200 pregnant nuns and I'm hiding out in the transit zone of Moscow's airport, would Russia REALLY let me stay there forever?  What about crimes committed IN that zone?   Can I just go there and turn it to rape city?

If you see Putin, strike up a conversation about Judo and try to throw him.

Got a voice recorder?

Ask him about fluoridation, 9/11, chemtrails, and vaccines.

Might be illuminating.

Putin:  Ask him to sign a Free Pussy Riot shirt.  Or his opinion on Bob Kraft.

Snowden: Ask him if you can bang his girl, now that she seems to be available.

And, bonus:  Snowden asked Putin today for asylum.  Hopefully he'll get it in a cell next door to the Pussy Riot women, so he can appreciate what Russia thinks of FREEEDOOOMM.

Well if we're to admit we're like everyone else and act like everyone else then the preaching must continue given how Canadians, Europeans, Russians, Chinese, etc all like to point out our problems and preach about how we should order our affairs.  Preaching isn't an American trait by any measure.

Maybe, but there's no reason why we can't be the first to STFU about it.

I think my iPhone can do that. I vaguely recall recording my law school classes with it from time to time.

I'll see if I can find a Pussy Riot shirt. And I'm married, so I'll ask Snowden on your behalf.

How do you sell a long-term goal to a nearsighted idiot?
