I have never in my life seen a Waffle House look that nice.

studman 69: I have never in my life seen a Waffle House look that nice.

The only one I've ever been to is in SC, and I look forward to eating a breakfast or two there again when we head back down in a couple weeks.  Yeah, the place is generally a wreck but the food is good and they don't skimp.  Don't know if they are all like the one we frequent, but where we go the kitchen is wide-open to people sitting at the counter which means nothing can get dropped on the floor, spit on, pissed on, have boogers flicked in it, etc. without someone noticing.  Maybe it's just me, but I'll take my food being prepared before my eyes in a place with dirty tables over gawd knows what's happening to my food in a place where I can't see it being prepared.

Yep, they are all like that. Pretty sure (and this is after careful study after living where a WH is never more than 10 minutes from wherever you are), they are all exactly the same on the inside. The only variant seems to be if local codes call for brick...as then there would be a brick exterior. Thanks, now I'm getting hungry for some scattered, smothered, covered...

Give Tatum credit for making fun of himself, even if the result wasn't funny.

//Waffle House is never meant to be eaten unless you are drunk or hungover.

It's only funny if you haven't gotten in a knife fight with a meth dealer at 4am in one.

I find it strange that Jimmy Kimmel features a regional food chain that isn't even present in the region the show is filmed(or even this half of the US).

Got another one with a name that's sorta close to White House? White Castle isn't out there either.

Because a restaurant called "Waffle House" isn't immediately intuitive to people who've never heard of it. "Gee, what you suppose they eat there? Me no get joke! Me CONFUUUUUUUSED!"

He was good in "This Is The End". Only on screen for 10 seconds, but doesn't seem to mind making fun of himself. The only good thing about the Waffle House video was the last 3 seconds with the splosion.

If you venture into a Waffle House after 2 a.m., make sure you have a gun. You don't ever want to be the only person without a gun.

That's what being Canadian is like. American TV shows reference a ton of products and fast food places I've never seen in person, but sometimes you gotta go with what you've heard of and will appeal to a large audience.

You know what scares me? The thought of being in a Waffle House and suddenly realizing I need to go number 2.

There's no culture shock with Waffle House. It is pretty much exactly the same as every other Dennys/IHOP/Independent 24 Hour Coffee Shop/Breakfast joint.

You know, the places that a lot of people under 30 don't realize serves sober people during daylight hours.
