What are the odds on his title being taken away at some point for doping?

Carth: What are the odds on his title being taken away at some point for doping?

Who? The bus? I think it was disqualified for having too many wheels.

I'd lay good money that the last two winners of the Tour were clean.

I meant the eventual winner of the first stage but I didn't actually click the link to see who it was.

Looking at their times it seems possible they were clean or they were just smarter in using PEDs. I won't take pro cycling serious until they just allow doping so everyone is on an even playing field.

Apparently they said the timing system used to log finish times was also damaged by the bus. Way to kick off the 100th running guys! I don't think they'll be heading back to Corsica anytime soon.

Why not allow motorcycles?
Every sport has it's rules.

Even if cycling let every one dope it wouldn't be a level playing field. It would just be wich team had the best pharmacists and riders who didn't mind dying in their 30's

If one team could use motorcycles without it being detected for year (or maybe ever) I'd agree. If your sport has rules that teams can break without it being detected you need to make new rules.

You will enjoy it - no one knew WTF was going on or where the race was gonna end. I paid the $30 for the NBC Sports package so I can watch each stage whenever I want, but watched this one live. My fantasy team was destroyed after day 1.

Should baseball allow unlimited doping? Get rid of all strategy. Just a bunch of freaks mashing it out of the park. Great!

There's a lot of strategy in cycling. This bus thing screwed a lot of plans.

Unlimited doping would take away all the strategy here as well as baseball. Just make rules and enforce them. The UCI has had a problem with that second part.

Long time avid cycling fan here, back before the time of Greg Lemond. Have been disappointed many times. Hate Lance Farking Armstrong. He has caused the most damage to the sport in history. Admired him for his come back from cancer but couldn't stand his dickish personality. Then I started hearing things and it became obvious he was dirty. Obvious to anyone except Phil Liggett apparently. Anyway, people who say they should all be allowed to dope and to let anything go, don't realize that PEDs affect people in different ways. For example, take two guys with equal abilities before doping. If one of them has a lower hematocrit, he will get a bigger boost from taking EPO than the guy that already had a relatively high hematocrit. Therefore, it's still not a level playing field. I just wish people could compete fairly and honestly. Unfortunately, the cheaters tend to be one step ahead of the testers.

/hate liars and cheaters.

Notice what I assume was the A/C coolant venting out of the top of the motorhome? Orica is going to have an uncomfortable 3 weeks if they don't get that fixed.

I don't think it had anything to do with Corsica.  Looking at the scenery, the crowds and listening to the commentators, Corsica's been a great host.  It would make more sense to ban Orica Greenedge.

I think Armstrong is taking the tack of 'I brought this sport into America and I can take it right back out again'.

The Sports Tab mod is about as competent as the Pirelli engineer.

This race gets red-flagged in 3...2...1...

It seems like it will after one more tire failure.  British fans are going to be pissed if this turns into another fiasco like the 2005 us gp.
