I can't wear Nike. Their 14 medium is a narrow and they don't make a wide. I'll stick with NB.

Ethics aside, anyone buying the things is a bit on the dull side.
You can buy far better footwear for a lot less.

Farking sneakers.

How do they work.

The things?

as for "far better footwear for a lot less"... meh.  Different brands fit different people.  I run in Nike (lunaracers) and Saucany (kinervas).  I used to like Brooks, but not for the past couple years.  I refuse to put on adidas again.  I am not fat, so I don't wear NB.  The prices of Nike's training shoes are very much in line with other brand's similar shoes.

So until the adoption papers go through and I import my own little cobbler, I will continue to buy Nike shoes.

I wear a $12 sneaker purchased at Wal-Mart. You've probably never heard of it.

New marketing campaign.

Trust Nike. Made by kids, for kids.

I'm better than all of you because the only athletic shoes I wear are American made New Balance.

We bought our 12 y/o boy shoes (not nike) about 3 months ago.  Shoes are already too small.  It's stupid to buy expensive shoes if they can only wear them for a few months

I feel your pain. When my son was 14 we bought him new gym shoes, only to have him come to us 6 weeks later complaining that the shoes made his feet hurt. I called him over to examine the shoes...his toes were scrunched up in the front...he'd outgrown them. That was the year he grew 6 INCHES taller.

I just replaced 2-year-old Nikes with some new ones. I put a lot of hard miles on them. They seem worth it too my and most of the other brands I looked at weren't any cheaper.

More likely they slashed costs by throwing away a couple shifts of dead slaves and replacing them with new kids.
