Revolutions tend to have issues like these

Considering that we were still sharply divided betwixt rebels and loyalists I am surprised at the lack after-revolution fighting

As distasteful as I may find Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood, he is the legitimately elected President of Egypt, and is entitled to govern this term. The Egyptians are pretty well split between fundamentalists and modernists. One side not getting its way (the modernists in this case) is not a reason to revolt. It is a reason to get involved in politics and working within the system to effect change.

This Arab spring has brought with it the red rains of a sectarian bloodbath.

We shall see who prevails at the end of the day when live and limb is on the line... Liberal Democracy is a nice concept, but not too many are willing to do for it the same as the radicals do.

Yeah.  That sounds pretty naive and like it's coming from someone who has never had their life threatened.
I really do wonder how your ideas of freedom, democracy, and speaking your mind will change when you or your family's life is threatened by your 'political opponents'.

Surely, you understand that ALL PEOPLE ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL in that part of the world as seen by a good number of politically active Muslims.
(Do you know how we've lost the war in Afghanistan?  You know who won?  Ultra religious Taliban.  Like they did with the Russians... good luck with your American democracy there)

It's a civil war, that means we, the U.S. needs to stay out of it.  Not arm the side we want to win.  That never works out long term.

It's not perfect, though, so the only progressive thing to do is destroy it so nobody else gets fooled by all that bullshiat about freedom that hides the obvious imperfections.

For baldurs gate get a fighter to level 7 THEN switch to cleric, you get the yummy 3/2 attack pattern and still get all the spells (do paladin->cleric for icewind dale). Good old broken class switching in 2nd edition.

You sound like a radical extremist yourself.
Throwing out insults.
Calling for the extermination of whatever you deem closed-minded fanaticism... in a part of the world you have likely never been to or understand the culture of.

Please, continue with your self-righteous tirade of how people should behave and who you consider worthy of having an opinion.

Not broken in the least bit, if you use the standard stat rolling system for character generation.  You have to have a 15 in the prime stat(s) of your first class and a 17 in the second class.  And if I remember correctly, Baldur's Gate uses a standard 3d6 dice roll.  Getting a 15 and a 17 is hard enough, but getting an 18 and a 17 is really difficult (do you really want to play a fighter without an 18 strength?).

Right.  That's the point... Democracy is all fun and games, until someone pulls out an RPG / AK47

1)  How fair was the initial election?  The Islamists have been using violence from day 1 to sway things.

2)  Islamists do not permit meaningful elections.
