It's like a no talent trinity!

REPENT.

Yeah, subby, I think you might have left some words out of the headline.

That's like the blind leading the blind.

If you listen to the radio, this is what you deserve.

What is the clap in three hams sounding?

And it tooks 15 producers to figure out how to copy it....

Rapmaster2000: If you listen to the radio, this is what you deserve.

Radio plays what it plays because that's what the unwashed masses want. Give people a steaming piece of crap song that sounds like all the other piles of crap and 95% will lap it up like the sheep they are. Play something that is a little different, and it tanks. Happens nearly every time.

It's like a bar band... Play something the audience hasn't heard 50 billion times and they stare at you like you're some kind of bug. Makes no difference if you play it brilliantly, they will not be havin' none of that. On the other hand, if you bang out a barely passable version of a Lynard Skynard song, they'll almost fudge their huggies with glee.

whether you call either one of them talented or not, i don't care...all i know is, given the chance, i would give each of those chicks the most disappointingly awesome 15 minutes of their lives

also, i'm wondering why there is spacing in wil.i.am's name in the headline? would it not work if typed without the spacing?

i have no idea why this bothers me...i care not what the dude's name is, nor the proper stylization of it in written form.

Unfortunately I think you're right. Most people just don't have time to appreciate music. Doesn't make what the like suck any less.

i agree.
i've even tried multiple times to broaden people's musical listening catalog..."if you like that, try this: _______" based on either being the same artist, the artist that was being sampled/covered, or similar style, etc. usually only the select few who have as ecclectic taste as i have will appreciate my efforts. most will just look at me funny.

Maybe both of you are pretentious wankers who are desperately trying to rationalize some sort of feeling of superiority for liking crap music.

You do have points, of course, but it's being buried under how you're presenting it and coming across as above.

Musically speaking - from my personal experience - the bands you (general "you") enjoy tend to have far better music on their albums than what got you interested in them on the radio (or however you heard them). I suppose most people won't overcome inertia long enough to go find better* listening enjoyment.

* always subjective, but still...

i can't recall ever coming across as superior in my musical tastes. i most definitely have encountered that type of person, but in these instances i was merely offering suggestions, not degrading the person for their personal musical tastes. i honestly don't care if someone only listens to ____________ type of music and won't give any other a 2nd listen...but i offer

Is the problem that the song don't sample Ke$ha? Cause... it doesn't.

Also, very near the end of the song with will.i.am, there's a nip slip.

i assumed there was a video to which you refer with a visual nipslip...just in a mood this morning due to lack of sufficient sleep and not yet enough caffeine

Yeah, at first glance, I thought the headline was about Miley Cyrus and Wil Wheaton.
I was confused.  :)

I wish the music industry had even a shred of integrity and would straight up blacklist Will.I.Am from working. How many times has this prick been caught stealing music or "music"?

I am only subjected to terrestrial radio when I'm at the bowling alley or, for some weird reason, someone else is driving me around. I have XM in my car and I avoid all the Top 40-like stations. All I hear is someone singing or rapping something unintelligible over the harmonics of a song I've already heard. I don't know what the new song is but when I heard it yesterday all I thought was "The background music is Pon de Floor by Major Lazer... that original is better". Pop music is copy-paste drone entertainment.

Wil. I. Am.

Is that Wil Wheaton with Will's haircut or Will wearing that clown sweater?
