(The Atlantic Wire)   There's a real brouhaha brewing over Justice Scalia's use of the term "argle-bargle" in opinion yesterday that could turn into a foo-fraw, or even become a full-fledged donnybrook   (theatlanticwire.com) divider line 13

victrin: Let's hate him because he's a bigoted ass, not because he chose a silly word.

cubic_spleen: Now, no more shenanigans, no more tomfoolery, no more ballyhoo.

Do you find it hard to hide the fact that you're gay? I don't have a problem with it... I don't care if you putt from the rough.

HailRobonia: DarkVader: killdawabbitt: Aidan: hat is, THEY are the ones creating the problem because they have no real problems bothering them. I think the modern version is drama queen.

Very insightful, thanks.  I still prefer fussbucket- the modern equivalent.  If it's not in the urban dictionary, I will shortly place it there.  Maybe one day it will achieve "cronuts" status.

Gah!  Bah!  Humbug!

Seriously, fussbucket is just wrong, the word is fussbudget.

What about bussfarket?

What went wrong in your life that you're reduced to this?

killdawabbitt: This reminds me... Is fussbudget a real word?  My wife uses it all the time and I tell her it's hogwash.  I then made up a similar word that makes infinitely more sense- "fussbucket".  Every time my sun is acting up in front of her I ask him why he's being such a fussbucket, just to piss her off.  He's a bucket-full of fuss... not really sure WTF fussbudget is supposed to mean anyway.

I've heard 'Fussbucket' as well.

Oh, and:
