Oh? And can you prove that? Perhaps with pictorial evidence?

2013-06-27 09:45:19 AM
Why not both?

2013-06-27 09:47:08 AM
It's not really that sexy when they stare at you with the "stop looking at me a-hole" glare like in those pictures.

2013-06-27 09:47:19 AM
No, it's not sexy.  And that's why the permit for this club should be granted: because it's not titillating.

2013-06-27 09:47:32 AM
Yes and humping my cawk is not sexy and requires true athletic ability, this is why we preview you on the pole first before taking you to the champagne room

Does that mean 14yos will be competing in it at the Olympics? I'm just asking. For a friend.

that pole must be INSANELY cold

boyfarks are all, 'what temperatures? what? what is she on about?' haha

2013-06-27 09:51:47 AM
Well, it's not sexy when that woman in the photo does it.

2013-06-27 09:53:03 AM
To be fair, pole dancing itself isn't very sexy. It's the naked woman doing the pole dancing I like.

2013-06-27 09:54:35 AM
Ok, when a woman is holding onto a pole and has her legs spread out as wide as they can
go, don't say it "isn't sexy" because the DNA in a man cannot be reprogrammed to think
otherwise.

With just a bit of moisture, she can stay stuck to that cold pole for hours. O_o

Yeah, pole dancing is a sport, just like Cheerleading...

It's called 'Pole Fitness' now for the soccer mom crowd. Couple of places here in Tampa. Legit exercise now, I guess.

They're just playing hard to get - it's a game and you have to break through that barrier.  They're likely to be the types to "punish you" with rough sex where they're the dominant ones later.

Most strippers start off fully dressed.  And we're not giving anyone any money.  So let's call it even.
/The correct answer is "the pole is cold and someone left a skidmark on it."

I think ping pong ball shooting requires way more athletic ability.

This is how our country has become so perverse, we turn everything into a competition.  Thanks a lot libertarian-tards.

i gather that if you're any good it's quite a workout for your core. there are regular classes but people mostly  do it in the uk for girls nights out, or hen parties.

If they weren't wearing 6-inch heels, they'd be more believable. Are the heels part of the sport? Wouldn't it be easier or more comfortable to wear ballet shoes?

Screw you, morons. Pole dancing is VERY sexy. That doesn't take anything away from the fact that these women are immensely talented and have to be in absolutely amazing shape to truly be good at it. It's why no don't laugh at people who push it as a fitness regimen. That still doesn't make it unsexy, I'm not sure why these women can't understand that the two are not mutually exclusive.

Blues_X: Dancing, of any variety, is not a sport.

i would agree.  while some types of dancing may be more demanding than most sports (i.e. ballet), the purpose of dance is aesthetic.  not competitive.

even those martial arts dances aren't sport.  now, when the martial arts people fight each other, fine, that's sport.

When is lap dancing going to be a sport? I think dance-offs should include pole dancing, lap dancing and morris dancing. All at the same time.

2013-06-27 10:14:13 AM
Pole dancing is like anything in life:
- If someone sexy is doing it, then it's sexy
- If someone not sexy is doing it, then it's disturbing and vile

The author needs to improve his reading comprehension. "Sleazy" and "sexy" are different things. You can be sexy without being sleazy and vice versa.

That said, these particular dancers' uniforms are sleazy, so I find it hard to take their arguments seriously.

If we call baseball players, shotputters, pole vaulters and golfers athletes, then YES, pole dancers are athletes, too. Sexy, delightful-to-watch athletes. I'd rather watch this than a bunch of tubby baseball players scratching their balls.

/And YES, dammit, cheerleaders are athletes as well and need to be classified as such.
//Some cheerleaders do more athletic stuff than most football players.

Point taken, but much like peanut butter and chocolate, the two are better when combined together.
