However, I saw a documentary which proved that Dr. J. regularly beat Larry Bird one on one.

CastorTroy: So did I. I never saw MJ play all 5 spots at an NBA level.

Um, ok.  Jordan played Olajuwon bucket for bucket at the center position when the Bulls beat the Rockets in the '94 and '95 Finals.  Even Hakeem was forced to admit that "Jordan's heart is just so big and he simply out-willed me."  But have fun with your revisionist history.  Dude wins twelve championships in ten years and people still doubt the dude.

Michael Jordan is the greatest and purest athlete of all time and anyone who says otherwise wasn't there to witness it. Jordan is one of the most humble players to ever touch a basketball. Jordan also won every game that mattered without any star power around him and never once, ONCE, choked.

My opinion has nothing to do with nostalgia.

I don't know about that... I think they both beat up each other equally...

MugzyBrown: Until game 7, if you watched the finals without prior knowledge, you wouldn't get the impression that Lebron was the by-far best player in the sport.  You pretty much never were left with that same doubt after watching MJ.

Wow, ain't nostalgia great?  It can make you forget that Jordan had arguably the greatest coach in basketball history, and a fellow hall-of-famer next to him, and, for a while, one of the greatest rebounders of all time beside him, etc. etc.

Want to talk nostalgia?  Prime Magic Johnson > Prime Michael Jordan.

AdolfOliverPanties: MJ - 6 NBA Finals trips, 6 Wins, 6 Finals MVPs

LJ - 4 NBA Finals trips, 2 Wins, 2 Finals MVPs

Oh wow LeBron retired? Where's the news flash?

Anyway, this argument is old and busted. Regardless of what LeBron does people like you and are going to say it doesn't count or it isn't as good as Jordan because reasons. So it's pointless to argue about it. LeBron is not Jordan, we know, the argument is over.

We already have someone like Jordan. His name is Kobe he plays in LA. I guess if he wins one more he'll be the best. We have another Jordan. There has never been anyone like LeBron.

/LeBron will not win 6 so I guess Jordan will be the best forever because he won the most...oh wait I guess Robert Horry is the best...well no maybe Russell is the best...but I think Wilt has the most so he's the best even though he couldn't shoot from outside of 5 feet...or maybe number of Championships is a stupid way to declare someone the best?

''I know it wasn't the magnitude of MJ hitting that shot in '98, but I definitely thought about him,'' James said. ''It was an MJ moment.'

Everyone take a moment to read that before we start this sports talk conversation....AGAIN!

He'll never compare to MJ as a petty asshole and will never get his dad killed over gambling debts either.  Hell LeBro doesn't even know who his real dad is.
