Mister Buttons: Yet Sportcenter yesterday featured one giant circle jerk on Lebron James. Seriously, I didn't see one damn thing about the Stanley cup (was watching at a bar.)

fatalvenom: Killer Cars: fatalvenom: Plus it gave me a chance to listen to the finger pointing all day on The Sports Hub.What "finger pointing" went on? Just curious.Surprisingly, not much. That's just what I was expecting. It was more or less, "the Bruins shouldn't have even beat the Leafs in reality, house money, lost to the better team in the finals etc."
johnny_vegas: 40 percent of people who take sick days take them on Monday or Friday conveniently giving them a 3 day weekend
balki1867: johnny_vegas: 40 percent of people who take sick days take them on Monday or Friday conveniently giving them a 3 day weekendUhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I think you're joking, right?
I sound fat: "We see millions of dollars in productivity losses"BULL. When people call in sick, a good portion of their work HAS to be picked up by other people. In most cases those people get both sets of tasks with no OT, or minimal OT.Therefore, you actually see measurable productivity GAINS. Not profits mind you, but hard, observable GAINS in productivity of the workers who did show up.You just forgot to figure them into the calculation while for some reason remembering to count a contracted paid benefit to you workers as lost productivity.
balki1867: johnny_vegas: dilbert.comOK we're cool johnny_vegas. You had me concerned for a second.
