Cue know-nothing headsplodin:

"We don't have time for a meeting of the Flat Earth Society," Obama said. "Sticking your head in the sand might make you feel safer, but it's not going to protect you from the coming storm."

Ethenol?

Spelling aside, I'd assume that Farkers everywhere and of all political stripes would be rejoicing at news of more ethanol.

How about if it's hops and barley based?

Let's just legalize the cultivation of industrial hemp.  Ethanol, whaaaaat??  Bio-diesel FTW.  My band's bus has been running off waste vegetable oil for quite some time now.  Want sustainable American jobs on our land that are carbon neutral?  Hemp is an immediate answer and we could create hundreds of thousands of new jobs in only a couple short years.

Step 1:  Legalize industrial hemp
Step 2:  Make bio-diesel from the hemp oil (and myriad other products)
Step 3:  Everyone wins (except large oil, tree paper, cotton, pharma, etc...)

In other words, the big polluters still have a great deal of control over this country.

Just try telling anyone that wind and solar are viable options.

You'll get your head bit off by some shill or tool. Guaranteed.
