They are keeping him alive so the Muslim Obama can personally be there to put a pillow over his face.

Really...  I mean no disrespect to Mandela.  He is a truly great man.  But he really needs to start resting in peace.
He deserves the break.

Will South Africa make him Eternal President?

Eternal President is Best President.

I was in South Africa last week, and I have to think the level of national mourning when Mandela passes is going to be pretty incredible.

Also, pretty remarkable that he's made it to 95, all things considered.

And now I can see people on Facebook blaming gay marriage for killing him if he dies today. Not for the fact he's really old and been in poor health for a short while.

It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive.

Not sure if troll, or just never had anybody succumb after a long illness.

It's a release. An ending. You hope it's better than living in agony. What Mandela has gone through is horrible. (Although it's probably a walk in the park compared to what he enduring decades ago. Not everybody gets arrested and tortured as a warm-up.)

And watching him go through this is probably almost as hard on his family as it is on him.

So you don't admit it, possibly not even to yourself, unless you're an internet sociopath with no inhibitions. But deep inside you know the outcome is inevitable and you want it to be over.

Let the Derpers have their derp.  I for one am grateful to have witnessed the life and achievements of this man.  Having traveled to South Africa in my youth, I was struck by the love and reverence they have for "Madiba".  Not many people can say they were so instrumental in freeing an entire nation.

If it's indeed his time, it will be the end of an often difficult but truly inspriational life.

Yesterday his family and close friends held a private meeting to "discussed" his funeral arrangement.
The more likely scenario is how to split up his fortunes.

BTW: Does he even have a fortune? I mean beside his name, image and legacy?
The guy spent 27 years in prison . So how much money can he have?

Books, speaking fees, books, speaking fees. Governmental privilege (IOW: embezzling) after he got out and was elected president. The usual shiat with politicians.

"Grant him, we pray, a quiet night and a peaceful, perfect, end."

And a blow job.
