+1 subby

This headline seems to be implying that gay male children enjoy being sexually molested by adult men, which is all sorts of f*cked up, even by Fark standards.

Straight boy, subby?

So gay children can't get molested, or they just done mind?

Well either that, or they would be able to sleep whereas straight kids wouldn't.  Still messed up.

Subby is a jackass.

I didn't get anything of the sort. You inferred that they enjoy it - subby made no suggestion of that. (Perhaps the boy's mother, knowing of MJ's trial history, thought she might get a payday out of the deal. And free room/board for Junior for 2 months.)

Anyway, I've seen the Nightmare on Elm St series - there's no way a doc should let a patient medicate themselves to sleep like that.

// the same goes for you alcoholics and melatonin-addicts
// sometimes you just need to be patient in a dark and quiet room

What's brown and in a baby's diaper?
Michael Jackson's hand.

That is what I took from the headline as well. It is pretty messed up. Apparently rape isn't funny, unless it's butt rape in which case it's hilarious.

The real question is how would fark react if a woman was butt raped in prison.

How is Michael Jackson like McDonalds?

They both have 40 year old meat between 12 year old buns.

You know, while most of the gay men I've known knew from a very young age that they were "different", I don't think any of them pulled together the clues under the rubric of "oh, so that's what gay is".until adolescence.

I mean, I knew I was straight from an early age (thanks, "doctor's office in a pup tent"!), but I didn't call it straight, nor did I advance my definitions until my teen years. I can't see compelling reason why it would be different for gay teens, some of which, suspecting the social difficulties that may ensue, defer and dely experimentation until they can, you know, head for a large city.

By contrast, some gay men of my acquaintance have seemed particularly oblivious on their ultimate orientation, not in the sense of self-denial because babbee Jeebus, but just because their preferences haven't "set" until a little later in life. Even the ones who make everyone else's gaydar go PING. This is far more common (seemingly) with lesbians, who can have heterosexual relationships and families and all that, and then discover their inner dyke in middle age. Hell, the premier of our province fits that M.O. perfectly. Can anyone cite a gay man who waited until his late 30s to switch teams?

Q: What did the man on the beach say to Michael Jackson?
A: Get out of my sun!!

Rape is funny.  Even child rape can be funny.  But gay bashing generally isn't.

For example:
"The Priest took the alter boy into the rectory" = funny
"The Priest raped an alter boy, but the kid was gay so he enjoyed it and no charges were filed" = stupid and not funny

Egoy3k: Valiente: Can anyone cite a gay man who waited until his late 30s to switch teams?

My father.

I submit that he knew he was gay, and either didn't act on it or was acting on it covertly. I would find it singular among the gay men (including the ones who were married and had children, like yours likely did) if he woke up one day approaching middle age and said "you know, I'm done with the vulva...bring me some sweet, sweet penis!"

By contrast, formerly straight lesbians have told me they were "perfectly happy" in heterosexual relationships until they gradually were not, and did not have homosexual experiences until a relatively advanced age. This seems to be a different pattern from men, who know how they're wired, but sometimes try to suppress or ignore it or indulge it in secret.

I suffer from horrible insomnia, often not even antihistamines can put me under.
I've recently discovered Mellow Out, a can of that puts me into a prompt slumber.  Not groggy, drugged sleep, but refreshing, replenishing sleep.  Too bad it's like $3 a can...

At least now I know I have something I can rely on for those nights when I can't afford to miss sleep.

But I digress.

I suffer from horrible insomnia too and it sucks rocks.  I do take Zolpidem and it knocks me out within 20 minutes.  I've been on it a long time this time around and I don't really have that sluggish feeling in the morning.  If I don't have my Zolpidem, I'm screwed.  I've suffered insomnia my junior year in h.s., a year plus after my divorce ten years ago and it's been back now for about two years.  It usually hits me when I'm in stressful time in my life.  Past two years have been pretty rough and I have so much shiat running through my head I simply can't fall asleep.  Tossing and turning for three hours until three, four o'clock in the morning and not falling asleep until the sun is just coming up really sucks.  I would be a walking zombie if it weren't for Zolpidem.

Can you please tell me where you bought the Mellow Out stuff.

Thank you in advance.

I went a week and a half once in the bad old days

hung out with the shadow people, hallucinated a white mist covering almost everything, babbled incoherently

not so good times...

60 consecutive days? I can't even fathom that. what a freak.

Is a week even possible? I've gone close to 60 hours but that was with the help of cocaine when I was spending my whole paycheck on it. I remember the shadows, being incoherent and looking at myself in the mirror for extended periods of times. Not a good experience.

It's apparent from this thread that some people go out of their way to be butthurt.  So maybe subby isn't too far off.
