Who cares what the King of the Roller Derpy thinks?

2013-06-25 11:40:55 AM
I think a good indication of how the world feels about America and Obama can be summed up by the fact he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for the amazing feat of not being George W Bush.

so we're back to him being an empty suit? boy, i can't keep up with you guys sometimes!

they keep having secret meetings.  maybe if they just kept up a Google Docs calendar with which dates he's what, it would be easier for the rest of us.

Krauthammer is correct, Obama's authority has taken a nosedive lately.

2013-06-25 12:08:18 PM
In order to be a good rublican you have to believe that Obama is the most evil man ever AND that he is a useless empty suit weakling at the same time. You have to fear his vast empire and near limitless reach while laughing at how ineffective he is as compared to real Americans in the heartland. Obama is a fiendish diabolical intelligence but also a stupid buffoon.

How many people care about what Krauthammer says?

2013-06-25 12:40:52 PM
Oh, my, god. Look at his agenda
It is so big. He looks like,
One of those rap guys'
But, y'know, who understands those rap guys?
They only talk to him, because
He looks like a total Democrat, 'kay?
I mean, his agenda, is just so big
I can't believe it's just so full, it's like
Out there, I mean - gross. Look!
He's just so ... black!

So if nobody cares about what Obama says...

And Republicans hang on his every word and freak out over anything he said....

Does that mean....  That...  That...

Man, having a tough time studying it out.  Is Krauthammer saying that Republicans are nobodies?

It's a deadly combination, you have to admit.

Nobody worries or cares about what Obama says because it carries no weight.

He's right.  And this isn't isolated to Beijing.  This is a universal truth.

I'm somewhat conservative, but I'd hardly call Obama a monster.  In fact, he's one of the most likeable politicians we have.  I just disagree with him on the role of government in American society.

One thing I don't think he gets enough credit for is his administration's efforts to reduce public assistance fraud.  I've worked in that industry for my entire career and he's been far-and-away the most serious about stopping it.  (Of course, the cynic in me would point out that he should be doing this, as he's worked tirelessly to expand the massive, bloated, fraud-riddled public assistance system).

But still, it's something that I don't think his administration gets enough credit for.  They really are quite unprecedented in their attention to this area.

Ahh the tolerant liberal left, making fun of a guy's disability.  Making fun of a guy because he requires a wheelchair to get around is guaranteed to engender support to your side.

Domestically, Obama promised:

- Transparent administration
- Text of each bill posted for five days before they vote/ pass law
- We aren't spying on you
- Gonna close Gitmo
etc etc etc

as the new york times said, "he has lost all credibility."

Using the IRS to attack your political enemies and using the NSA to spy on your political enemies is what empty suits do.  It is what weak presidents do.  Strong, confident presidents with widespread support don't have to resort to those measures of desperation.

His lies and ignorance are perfectly valid, it's only important how he feels about it.

I'm still having trouble pinpointing when the rightists went all-in on post-modernism and consensus reality.

I always assumed that it was a comedy act.  Surely no one is so deluded that they would post flat-out nonsense without rightly expecting their credibility to vanish down the sh*tter.  I mean, I laughed when I read that.  Wasn't I meant to?

You farking morons would start world war 3 to catch an idiot who leaked a boatload of illegal American spying activity that we alll ALREADY strongly suspected was going on. There's NOTHING new in the Snowden revelations, all it does is confirm that the god damned military police state has grown completely out of control.

But you chest thumpers in the media and in congress insisted on painting that idiot Snowden as if he'd just exposed the entire inner workings and plans of the CIA, NSA, DIA and pentagon all at once. Had the president NOT publicly stated his intent to bring Snowden to justice you'd have crucified him as a pussy!

That farking tool Wolf Blitzer was on for over a god damned hour yesterday beating the war drums for Snowden.

You backed the farking president into a godd damned corner and gave him only THIS option: chase after Snowden or else!

Putin did exactly what I would have done were I in his place....take whatever he could off of Snowden then help the idiot get out of Russia safely.

And you tools just play along. Jesus god damned K Rist, you'll farking kill us all for the sake of a god damned political embarrassment.
God, I farking hate this shiat.

Yeah, since the congressional elections of 2010 put the Republicans into the majority in the House.  Other than blowing stuff up and pardoning people, the President pretty much needs Congress' permission to do anything.

The real power is in Congress, which ironically would make the nonpresidental election years much more important.
