NW Ohio is mixed between cleveland/detroit fans. No one I know cares about baby bronbron leaving through free agency which is his right. Everyone I know, even our family cat Emma, still thinks he's a douchemeister for how he acted while here and during his departure. Name on the front of the jersey > name on the back

THIS.  Nobody would have cared about him leaving as much had he not decided to thumb his nose at Cleveland.

AdolfOliverPanties: So they cheated death?  How many times are they going to be allowed to cheat in one week?

How many times does the Heat play in the week?

In defense of the Miami folks ( oh my gawds, i am actually saying that ) it is rather hot and humid in that crappy place this time of year. Seems a moron was in charge of civil engineering the bridge height .
I know- hey, whats another foot, right ? we saved about 100k !

Almost everyone I know wasn't really upset about the fact that he left, because let's face it, that's what big-name free agents do in Cleveland.  It's the nature of pro sports these days.  If people were upset about anything, I'd say it was the primetime special on national TV.  It's really a reflection of the man's skill at playing basketball that if he were to return to Cleveland pretty much all would be forgiven; when us mere mortals burn our bridges they tend to stay burnt.

Anyway, to this Cleveland sports fan the most irritating thing about the LeBron James story (aside from ESPN's constant metaphorical ball-gargling) are the bandwagoneers who have all of a sudden become lifelong Heat fans.  These are, of course, the same ones who were until recently lifelong Steelers fans (but only while they were winning Super Bowls) and lifelong Red Sox fans (but only while they were winning World Series), and who before that were lifelong Cowboys and Yankees and Bulls and Lakers fans.  Frontrunners like them have always struck me as either contrarians (especially when it's the Steelers or Yankees involved), or just beta dogs, so I don't pay them much mind if I can help it.
