Jeez, that must take a long time to get all of that water out with just one cup.

Time to move the team back to Atlanta.

Good. no need for Mascots anyway. If your team needs a mascot to get people to pay attention, your fanbase sucks.

I would assume so. I live in South Florida aka: used to be a swamp. We get an ass-ton of rain and it gets a bit floody, but not that bad.

parts of Alberta got the average rainfall for June in two days. that all fed down the river into Calgary, and now, Medicine Hat.

High River got wiped out, which I guess is ironic?

Reports say 248 millimeters of rain fell, which is about 10 inches.  The Saddledome is close to the river and in a low lying area, so... you know why it's going to take the Flames forever to drain the water?  They only have one Cup!

Thank you, I'm here all week.. Tips... etc.

We got a ton.  The real problem is that the mountains got more (Canmore got half a year's worth in 48 hours).  And all that water went downhill, fast.  We flood periodically as a result, but never this bad.  This was twice the previous worst flood.

Which caused this:
