Most likely because somebody already submitted the better link with a stupid headline so it got turned down and Fark wont let you submit the same link twice.

The picture that truly confused me was the one of a comically fat man leaning over a small typewriter to peer closely at an oddly thin TV screen with one hand resting on a small box in front of him and the other moving vigorously in his lap.

It was a strange prediction.
