Professor Farksworth: Dumb-Ass-Monkey: JJ and J-Lo?

Oooooh, this could get interesting!

Rubs idol furiously.

Nice euphemism. Don't forget the lube.

Oooooh, this could get interesting!

Yeah, we might actually see JJ in a J-Lo position for the rest of the season!

If we do get a late caution, Gordon and Kurt Busch will hit the restart like they're driving Abrams tanks.

Professor Farksworth: crotchgrabber: Some day there must be a Fark party at a race.

YES! I support of this idea. How about next year's 500?

I'd like to go to the new track near Austin, TX or Las Vegas, NV (been to that one b4).

2013-06-23 06:23:05 PM
For a guy who's had his name said enough times, it's a surprise to hear that that is only Truex's second win.

Oh well, he ran a heck of a race - and that lead at the end was damn impressive.

"Are you kidding me. We could have saved fuel," says Montoya, who had said this would be a huge points day

Nope, but at least you didn't saturate the thread like the FF pinheads.

This was a damn impressive win for Truex! Good on him!

And Kurt was incredible. If he hadn't f*cked up TWICE in the pits, he could have taken it.

In all, there were some great runs from some unexpected drivers, and JJ was pleasantly mediocre,

I didn't want to jinx it so I never mentioned it, but I was afraid the weight they took out of the Gen6 and the increased range of rear camber would make it a better road course car. Which is the opposite of what makes NASCAR on road courses fun. It's not a huge difference, but it's been noticeable in the half of the race I watched. Lots of saves that wouldn't have been made in last year's vehicles.

Oh well. Road courses are still the short tracks of new NASCAR, as far as beating and banging, retaliation, and impatience goes. And there's always Nationwide/trucks.

Wherever we go we need to do like a kickstarter or something and raise a large amount of money, then just buy seats in one section of the stands. (Anything left over can be divided up to help with travel or something.) That way we're all in one spot and we know we won't be separated by non-Farkers.

To me, tailgating with farkers is the surest way to not see the race.

The wheels are turning. What has been set in motion can not be stopped. There shall be copious amounts of boozing. There shall be nipple rings. There shall by idols that even the gods have not seen.

I feel like I should end this post with "winter is coming."

Happy for Truex! I remember his last win like it was yesterday. Plus five years and 359 days, give or take.

LOL.  Speaking of copious boozing, I found out last night that I'm still pretty good on a mechanical bull.  There was Everclear involved.

Was in a fireworks store today and saw a Nascar-themed firework called "18 Car Pileup." The font on the "18" closely resembled Busch's.

I doubt it's a coincidence.

In honor of wine country, instead of saying he hasn't won forever, we'll say that @MartinTruexJr56's win today has been aged for six years.
