Rumor has it that the Marlins offered him a contract immediately afterward, but Kaepernick said he only signs with professional organizations.

I don't care how hard he throws. Dudes got enough money he should get a real tattoo artist. Worst ink in pro sports.

He hit 87 with some not-so-great looking pitching mechanics. But since he's right-handed, it means he would have been at-best a fourth starter. And realistically, he probably would have topped out somewhere around A ball. He was only a 42nd round pick, after all. And at that point in the draft, a lot of GMs are just making nepotism picks at that point.

So he made the right decision, is what I'm saying.

Your_Huckleberry: ZoSo_the_Crowe: Pretty good for a guy with presumably very little warmup.

Most physically gifted QB in the history of the game. His ceiling is unlimited.

Wow. That's a pretty bold statement, you don't work for the KNBR morning show, do you?

Not taking anything away from him, but it's a pretty small sample size to be throwing out the History Of The Game flag.

He has the powers of both black and white people. He can not be stopped.

I thought 80-85 was what the average high school player could throw. I know I could.

/Still better than any NBA player I've seen do it in person (John Wall and Caron Butler). Terrible. Just Terrible.

Wow, a guy who was drafted into MLB as a pitcher and was all-state in CALIFORNIA as one, is known in the NFL for throwing heat on every single pass and that his problem is that he doesn't consistently exhibit the ability to put touch on his passes can throw fast?

Explains why he didn't sign with the Cubs when they drafted him.

He and Russell Wilson were drafted by MLB teams. Not that that means anything because they draft until they have everyone's rights in the country for the next year.
