Doesn't mean he's OK. At the very least he's having back spasms. Doubt gonna play, and if he does, he's gonna be terrible.

kingflower: Sounds like Bergeron might have a problem with his spleen.

Wanted for questioning:

In other news, the Kings have traded Quick's backup to the Leafs for 2 players and a draft pick.

So Reimer's going to have to earn the starting spot all over again, it seems.

Yea, not sure how I feel about this one yet.  All the scouts say Bernier is the next sliced bread... But Reimer has more playoff experience, and more experience period.  We'll see, I was kind of hoping for a older mentor type back-up for Reimer, but maybe the 1 - 1a thing will work.  As for Scrivins, gonna miss him he's a quality guy, and gonna be a fine back-up for Quick... Frattin has some upside, he'd had a rough patch with his knee but we have a couple of similar wingers coming up.  And a second.  Seems like a lot for a guy we still actually have to sign too.

I'm a huge Scrivens homer, so I'm biased here (and hate seeing him move from a very good goalie's backup to an amazing goalie's backup.)  But this trade makes no sense to me.  I bet Reimer still winds up the starter.

Leafs had bigger problems than goaltending.

Yes. So how hard should we go after Letang? And who do you give up for him? It'll have to be someone pretty good, but not very expensive... And ready or nearly ready to be a top four.
Maybe Gardner? and of course ++
There are rumours about Phaneuf starting up but at $6.5M, I think he's too expensive to be in play with Pittsburg....
Just in, the rumour is Phaneuf and Reimer to Edmonton for their 1st round (7th) pick and Sam Gagner.
weee.  keep your arms and legs inside the car at all times while the ride is in motion...

Knock me over with a feather, but MTL has officially notified Tomas Kaberle that the dman will be MTL's second and final compliance buyout.

Speaking from a divisional rival, I'm sorry to see him go too -- "Scrivens" is the best goalie name to scream out in frustration after he robs somebody.  "Raaaaaassssk!", for example, is too "Khaaaaaann!" to be effective from anyone but Captain Kirk, and "Reimer!" sounds like a high school principal failing to discipline an unruly ninth-grader.
