velvet_fog: kukukupo: LeBron is still a douchebag.

I can't fault Cleveland in this case.

Oh, shut the fark up. What's the worst thing LeBron did? Make millions of dollars for Dan Gilbert and the city of Cleveland? Cavs fans got to watch the best player of this generation for seven years. The NBA is a farking business and no one - especially Dan Gilbert - has any right to be pissed at LeBron for making a business decision to go play for another team where he could win a championship. After seven years, it was clear that Gilbert couldn't build a team around LeBron that could win a title, so LeBron went somewhere where he could win multiple rings instead. No one in Cleveland is entitled to LeBron's services.

I hope all the young talent on Cleveland's roster bolts as soon as they can to go win championships for better owners of teams with fan bases that actually deserve a championship.

Yeah, that escalated WAY too quickly. Someone writes two sentences & your Weeners is "shut the fark up?" You don't get to decide who gets pissed at LeBron. It wasn't THAT he made the decision. It's HOW he went about it. Cleveland isn't entitled to LeBron's services. But they do get to be bitter when he very, overly ceremoniously left his hometown & his home state for a stacked team with his buddies. They get to be bitter. You are not the arbiter of who gets to be mad about it or for how long.

LeBron is still a douchebag.

Cleveland gets to be bitter.

I wonder if they can do the entire news cast without saying "murder"?

I wish all you non-Clevelanders would get it through your heads that the Cavs did EVERYTHING LeBron asked for - he was worshiped in this town - and he threw it in our face on national television in that ridiculous excuse for a show on ESPN. He could have left with grace and class, thanked the people of Cleveland and just said 'it's time to move on', and we would have been fine, but no, he had to be a major asshat about it.  One does not forgive that easily.

LucklessWonder: Cleveland is still on notice for giving us Drew Carey as far as I'm concerned.

DREW CAREY IS A NATIONAL TREASURE.

Also, the overwhelming response to the Heat's Finals win here has been an overwhelming, "Meh". Calling us all bitter assholes because of one bitter asshole (who, by the way, I believe did this same stunt last year) is just unfair.

Furthermore, I don't know who this chucklehead up toward the top of the thread is, but he can go get f*cked with a wooden bat, orally and anally.

Being bitter is about all Cleveland fans have going for them.

/you know who needs to release some more comic sans hilarity? Dan Gilbert
//"Ok he's won two titles but the Cavaliers will definitely win one before the so called King wins a third. For real this time."
///I want LeBron to go back to Cleveland just to see Gilbert's head explode trying to distance himself from his previous asshattery

Cleveland is a bad sports town. All they do is biatch about their teams for not winning, and then complain when the good players they do have leave in search of a chance to win. Here's a thought, Cleveland: HOLD THE TEAM OWNERS ACCOUNTABLE, NOT THE PLAYERS! Maybe if the owners brought in good players and coaches, and didn't force their few good players to go elsewhere to seek a championship, then maybe their teams would actually win from time to time!

Cleveland does not deserve an NBA team.
Cleveland does not deserve an MLB team.
Cleveland especially does not deserve an NFL team.

So wipe away your tears, Clevelanders. LeBron has two rings, and until you hold your team owners accountable for not putting together teams that can win, you'll never hang a championship banner from those rafters or in your stadium.
