In addition, when ordered to turn over his cellphone, his attorneys gave investigators a phone that was "in pieces."

Now they'll never be able to find out your calls and texts. Not even the phone company or the NSA would know. What a smart guy!

This will be the easiest player release Bill Belichick has ever done. And Bill has taken on players like Dillon, Haynesworth and Moss.

I'd be worried about Tom Brady and the offense, but when they won the Super Bowls, he wasn't throwing to the most talented players.

Jayson Williams always struck me as more of a "hold my beer and watch this...oops...oh shiat"

This seems to be shaping up as more of a "Did you just tell me to go get my shine box? " situation at best  and a  "Hey lets take a one way ride to the quarry" situation at wost

It is "being prepared" (ie: getting a judge to sign off on it), which is to say that it does not exist at this moment, but it will in the near future

Which may have been the problem....this dude dated Hernandez's girl's sister.  I wonder if the whole thing was preciptiated by him getting some stripper's digits and Hernandez deciding that was "dissing" the sister.

So when did you move to Arizona?

/we got a winner in town...Buddy Ryan...
/the Suns do a similar thing...they go out and hire an ex-player star to coach the old team...too cheap to hire decent squad

Still, with Hernandez in jail, Gronk out with a shattered spine, and Amendola out with "insert injury here", Brady is going to be throwing to...Shane Vereen, Jake Ballard and Michael Jenkins?

Once Amendola goes out with an injury (which I can 100% guarentee since I have him in my keeper league), their offense is, as my grandma used to say 'farked'.

I'm usually one to wait until we have a broader scope of facts before rendering any sort of judgement, but HOT DAMN Hernandez sure has made himself look guilty as hell.  Now, he may not trust police, he may be sure that his 'associates' may just kill him if he doesn't cooperate but that's not much of an excuse.

/Maybe, maybe I'd be sympathetic if we found out the guy beat his lady's sister.
//I'd probably be sympathetic there.

Okay, I'm officially going with -

Came back to his place after a long night of drinking and started playing with guns.
Hernandez (or friend) accidentally fires shot into face of other friend - explains why he had his house cleaned and why security system destroyed
Hernandez panics and calls people to help dispose of body (and lawyer) - explains why he destroyed his phone
Friends dump body nearby because they don't have much time (it started to get light not too long after) and the hope was they could at least shift some blame or create a plausable deniability scenario

Now why was the mirror on one of the cars that was rented destroyed though? Drunk driving? The car they used to dump the body wouldn't be able to be returned, so it had to be the one that was found near the scene.

Come on fark CSI, lets solve this crime.

Doesn't add up. Would he just find that out in the middle of the night? Nah... They were recorded out partying earlier that night. Makes a lot more sense that they got drunk and started playing with guns.

So what exactly does he think he's preventing from being found by smashing his cell phone? Is he stupid enough to think he destroyed his call and text history?

The cops said the body was killed where it was found, so that throws off your theory completely.

your theory holds water...unless he was shot execution style, in the back of the head...which is what has been reported.  dunno.  you might be right.

I've heard the guy was shot in the back of the head.  Otherwise it seems plausible enough that it was an accidental shooting that is being covered up.  It also seems just as plausible that it was a drug deal gone bad or an actual "execution".

Fair enough.  Since I'm not one to play with guns, even when sober, I can't even put myself in whatever the mindset was that night.

/Note: Playing with is different from using responsibly.

Holy shiat. My wife has been a Patriots fan since 2002. I have been a Rams fan since 1979. This year she cried to me asking if this was the end of an era, and kept remarking about how hard it was to watch the decline of the Patriots, and how hard it was to still be a fan.

I told her to shut the fark up.
