I'm sort of impressed that the 7yo could drive at all.  My kids are in double digits, and I'm not sure either one of them could even reach the pedals.

Well, my son could...  And I think he could actually be trusted.  He drives a go cart like a madman.

any LEO/Lawyers out there:  Which option is better?  An unlicenced but sober driver or a drunk driver?  I didn't say good, I said better.

So one seven-year old is bad. I get that. But where's the line? Is an eight-year old an acceptable designated driver? What about seven one-year olds? Would that be OK?
