The Weeners I ever got in TFD was a troll in German, translated using the webz, so I'm getting a kick out of these replies.

Personally, I don't care which language we use, I just wish everyone could agree on one.

Pay Drew his $5 bucks and yes, you too can get weeners.  Lots of them.  More than you could ever hope for.  In literland with no EIP, you get no weeners, but the filter still gets you.

You just gave more information on the actual focus of the article than the article did.

I used to play a multiplayer online game that was rather popular over the world. Its developers/hosts were French Canadian though there seem to be more English speaking players than French. At various times of the day there would be an influx of Brazilians, Turks, Indonesians, and others who would come online to together to mainly play with each other. Some had some English but would speak their native language as a solidarity thing.

(mainly) English speakers started using online guides along the lines of "how to swear and call people names in Turkish".

I myself pretended to be Moldavian and insisted in English that I didn't know English which got some there upset because I seemed to understand English and give sometimes appropriate replies.
