As someone getting ready to ditch work to go paddling I'm getting a kick...

I've been fortunate enough to witness paddling in nature. And waffling. And flogging...

So does piddling

//preferably not behind a tree on the edge of a busy freeway

I'd characterize it as more of a kickin' situation.

Coning to this thread for Jasper... you better believe that's a paddlin'.

Wow $150.00-$475.00 for a paddle? Heck my kayak was only 320.00 and the paddle was 50 bucks.

It certainly does. After all, you can't get any closer to nature than having Nature fly off with drops of blood after sticking a tube into you.

/Love to kayak and fish anyway.

I think the guy is charging high prices for people who don't know a thing about kayaking. $2000 for a kayak?!  Unless you're a pro and you are entering competitions, you are a mug to fork out $475 for a paddle. Or it just means that you have more money than sense...

I've got a carbon paddle that only cost me £45 and my kayak cost me £599. Hell, I could get a carbon paddle for around £25.

I'm actually preparing all my gear at the moment for a 2 month kayaking/wilderness hammock expedition in July. Can't wait.

I like paddling on, and off, the water if you know what I mean and I think you do...

We need to get this thread to the point where the Poughkeepsie Journal poobahs are wondering WTF is the big deal about this article.

Stop that!

If we waste any more time on "weeaboo," we'll be bankrupt by the end of the month!
