he has accused Google of helping facilitate the sale of illegal goods - from prescriptions to counterfeit music

Is "counterfeit music" really a thing?  Like I think I'm buying the new Gama Bomb album, but what I actually end up with is some low budget garage band performing all the same songs?

/ Is the garage band any good?  Because I guess that would work.

And by "putting consumers at risk" presumably "treating them like adults who can make their own decisions" is meant.

Gotta put in a recommendation for duckduckgo.  Google's search went downhill when they went corporate, and MS or Yahoo!?! aren't really any better.

Precisely.

This is the same 'public' that elected Bush *twice* and has American Midol and Glee as two of the highest rated TV shows in recent history.

When I was younger I enjoyed listening to Incubus.  While travelling, I saw a CD with Incubus written at the top and purchased it without thinking much more about it.  Upon listening, I was shocked that all the music was (relative to Incubus) terrible.  Just awful.  Turns out it was an Incubus cover band.
