I was guessing causation != correlation so I got it half right, sadly not technically correct.

They're gonna teabag the IRS nice and hard and without restraint.  They are going to descend on the IRS and pin them down and smother their cries for mercy with their relentless teabagging.

Just because they're personally and financially involved in politics as a group does not make them a political group!  Or something.  Just keep their balls away from my mouth!

Baby, if you've ever wondered,
Wondered about my tea party,
It's protesting the IRS in Cincinnati,
Protectin' my501(c)

Got upset they wondered what I was doing,
Spreadin' my ideological bile.
Yeah, it's suppose to be a charity
but couldn't they leave me be for awhile.

I'm at the IRS in Cincinnati..

Once again from the cheap seats:  the only scandal here is that these obvious political groups were granted tax exempt status.

Yep, if you feel discriminated against because of your politics in getting a tax exemption, you deserve jail time for perjury.

Sure, you give teatards lots of great, legitimate ammo and possibly renewed political life by having idiotic people in the IRS specifically target them. Then, you throw them in jail. Brilliant plan.

From a totally non-partisan Alabama Tea Party organization that complained about the additional questions:

IT'S TIME TO END THE IRS !!
FairTax Fact:
The FairTax eliminates the IRS and will be collected by the states!

Save our kids from the IRS! Tell Congress in one minute to END the IRS with the FairTax legislation:
Imagine a tax code where you keep your paycheck instead of the IRS.
Do it for the children!

I'm sure today's rallies -- held on Juneteenth, the day marking the spread of the Emancipation Proclamation to all states and territories - will make no references at all comparing people paying their taxes to slavery.

Huh, I saw a small group of people on the corner this morning holding "Abolish the IRS" signs while I was on the way to work.  I didn't know if there was something planned for the day or if a small group of self-entitled white people spontaneously decided to get together and whine about how they're still expected to contribute to society even though they're rich.

/never understood how they can label their opponents as "freeloaders" when their opponents' philosophy is "we want to spend money so we can have stuff" while theirs is "we don't want to spend money, but we still want the stuff".

Holy shiat, has subby read the first amendment?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Isn't that more of a self-revealing filter for basic human intelligence and reading comprehension?

What's dumb is these groups could still keep their tax exempt status and still be politically active, they'd just have to declare what millionaires are astroturfing their movement now.

Eh, hope those morons have fun waving their poorly-crafted, misspelled signs around.

These days, I immediately ignore anything coming out of the gaping pie hole of anyone who consider themselves a "Tea Partier" or self-identifies with any Tea Party Group.

You're essentially telling me you're a proudly ignorant, hypocritical, bigoted xenophobe and I really have no interest in any of your bullshiat.

After thread upon thread uoon thread of this, there are still people claiming that 501(c)(4) orgs are not permitted to be "political," despite the fact that there are PACs that have obtained the status.

They can be as political as they want so long as
A) it is lobbying related to their tax exempt putpose
B) political campaign activites (IRS definition: supporting or opposing specific candidates) does not constitute their primary activity.

Let's all do this again in a few days and see if anyone learned anything.

That's a strange way of interpreting the headline.  It looked to me like he was saying that the IRS did everything the Republicans claim it did (despite evidence to the contrary), and that he thought that was a good thing.
