Makes perfect sense.  The one who's actually still working so she can inspire kids to be like her - someone who has completely rebelled against her good girl image but is still looked at as the okay one.  Wouldn't want kids rebelling against their parents or nothin'....

Bruce Jenner?  How'd he make the worst male role models?  Is he even still alive?

Not Kim Kardashian?

Not Kanye West?

WTF?

She received 68per cent of the votes collected byCouponCodes4u for her 'inability to make positive life choices', 'lack of talent' and 'sexualised' appearance.

I'm confused, why is Justin Bieber listed under worst MALE role models?  Shouldn't he be right there with Miley?

#9 Heidi Montag
It saddens me that anyone would even think of her name when they think of a celebrity. I was hoping she'd be mostly forgotten by now.

2013-06-18 09:18:18 PM
Actually, the fact that the woman-abusing-scumbag Chris Brown made #1 among male celebrities slightly improved my faith in humanity.

Why is Jay-Z a bad role model?  Sure he admits to selling some drugs in his youth, but it's not like children are aware of that (I don't think most children are aware of the Black Album) and as an adult he has stayed out of trouble, worked hard, and built a successful business.  He doesn't cheat on his wife or act like a spectacle.  I'd rather my daughter date him than Kobe Bryant.

2013-06-18 09:18:45 PM
I actually guessed it correctly.

What do I win?

2013-06-18 09:19:34 PM
Miley's a better role model because she's being herself and not being a sheep. I may not like her music much, but the girl is admirable for doing what she wants and not conforming to the mold the industry would prefer to put her in to sell records.

Miley Cyrus?

Yep.

Did you complain to the Powers That Be or are you just whining?

2013-06-18 09:36:38 PM
Haha, Jay-Z? The insanely successful entrepreneur who's in a happy, stable relationship with one of the most beloved women in the world? Yeah, what a terrible role model.

2013-06-18 09:44:48 PM
Yeah, I wouldn't mind my daughters paying attention to Jay-Z or Miley Cyrus. God forbid famous people not be perfect.

There are FAR WORSE media personalities. Jeez.

Because movie/music celebrities should be role models for important life choices.

The real scary part is that people are taking role-model advice from a place called CouponCodes4u.

/that's like asking fashion advice from a random Walmart shopper
//pretty depressing that they were able to find 10 people worse than Paris Hilton
///also pretty depressing that none of the Palin clan made the list

Her ranking on this list may have a lot to do with this incident:

Or this:

Sure, there are plenty of celebrities who are worse, but she's very well known, so people tend to think of her name when they think of girl celebrities who are "bad".

Yeah, I've never been a fan of any of her work, but I've gotten the impression in the last year or two that she's living her life on her terms and she's NOT a complete train wreck.  At this point, out of all the females on the list, she's probably the one I'd be LEAST concerned about my t(w)een daughter trying to emulate.  (Ke$ha too, honestly; I've always assumed she's just trolling the music industry and from that perspective she's pretty entertaining.)

I tend to view most of Lindsay Lohan's issues as a direct consequence of a shiatty childhood, and Amanda Bynes obviously has an actual mental illness, so I've got a measure of pity for both of them.  (Plus, are there any young people who actually see either of them as a role model anymore?)

This should've been an easy win for Kim Kardashian.

You know who else did what they wanted and didn't conform to society?

It takes more than doing what you want to make you a role model.

This might not be the most pathetic excuse for a Godwin ever, but it's gotta rank up there.

And Jesus, what a pile of fail that list is.

2013-06-18 10:14:46 PM
Miley is a worse role model because she has more influence of young girls, and hence more of a negative impact. Young girls don't even know who the others are.

2013-06-18 10:16:31 PM
Once again, parents are clueless.  Justin Bieber should be #1.  Oh, worst female celebrity role model?  Hmm... didn't change a g*d-d@mn thing.

2013-06-18 10:18:46 PM
This is stupid... Yu can argue the "lack of talent" thing, but that doesn't affect her ability to be a role model. Her appearance isn't any more "sexualized" than Lohan or Bynes. Same with the whole "inability to make positive life choices". I know little about Cyrus, but I know enough about her to know that putting her higher on the list than the other two is s total joke. I bet the survey is skewed in some way.

2013-06-18 10:24:03 PM
Who really gives a rat's ass who coupon clippers think is the best "role model".  You mean the people that shove a crumpled up pile of coupons (half of which are either out of date or don't apply to your purchase) in some poor clerks face to run  while they scan the gossip rags and everybody else is steaming at your cheap ass?  If your life revolves around getting the most coopins so you can get all the free shiat that you'll never use, chances are your kids do need a good role model.  I doubt that you're the one to make recommendations, though.  I mean, we can see how your life has turned out.

Rapmaster2000: Why is Jay-Z a bad role model?

I thought Jay-Z has a reputation as a genuinely nice guy.

I didn't like Miley Cyrus as teenager on a stripper pole, but she seems to have turned out to be an OK adult.

Perhaps, but she does give the best side boob since Anne Hathaway retired-dieted.

He stabbed somebody (nonfatally) about 13 years ago. He's been clean ever sense. I don't understand why he's on the list  now. That'd be like Robert Downey Junior being on the list for his multiple drug arrests back in the 90s.

YOU HEAR THAT, KIDS?! IRON MAN DID COKE! AND HEROINE!

1) Has had sex with everything that moved before she found the right guy and is planning on settling down. Is obviously still having sex with him.

2) Refuses to have sex until she is married due to her religious beliefs. From my experience, young horny boys don't tolerate that shiat no matter how rich or famous you are.

So not surprising really...

I'm still not sure kids actually have role models as much as their parents might think they do.  How many of you actually had someone, a celebrity even, that you considered a role model?  I never had one, not even a family member.  The idea didn't seem prevalent amongst my friends either.

2013-06-19 01:25:29 AM
Miley Cyrus: Terrible tattoos, weird fashion sense, making millions.

Lindsay Lohan: Terrible tattoos, adderall addict, barely employable, going broke.

Amanda Bynes: Going broke, unemployable, either drugged up or in the middle of a massive chemical imbalance.

If bad tattoos are your worst sin as a celebrity, you're doing OK.

Kids will often end up with favorite artists/athletes and emulate their fashion or how they conduct themselves and buy lots of merchandise.  I think that parents of tweens who remember their child worshipping Mom/dad just a few years back often panic and assume that these famous people are new role models.  Really it's just shiat the kids like.
