ItachiNai: Rwa2play: I'm sorry, but I'm just walking away from DC at this point.  I can understand marketing your properties and all that; but this screams of 'PLEASE BUY OUR PRODUCTS! PRETTY PLEASE?! WITH SUGAR ON TOP?!"  There's a sense of real desperation with this for Time Warner/DC to find some type of foothold against the Marvel juggernaut.

It's exactly like throwing shiat at the wall and seeing what sticks.  If I were Time Warner's shareholders I'd be terrified at this point.

My guess is that you were either too young or too busy with life to remember the rampant cartoon commercial tie-ins -including both Marvel and DC properties- in the 80s and 90s.  You think those X-Men cartoons (see: "I'm the Juggernaut, BIATCH!") were anything more than 20 minute ads for the toys?

Those cartoons were decent for the time, actually.  They were a lot less toyetic than stuff like, say, G.I. Joe.  And, frankly, I was amazed they managed to do the Phoenix and Dark Phoenix sagas in a way that even approached doing justice to the source material.

FTFV:  "Could not load plugins. File not found."

Any website that requires me to whitelist a bazillion domains AND requires me to install some obscure plugins aren't worth my clicks.  I have Flash and Silverlight.  I don't need *anything* else.  Nobody does.
