notyomama: Sounds like these "experts" are just trying to justify their grant money.
Rik01: Any stimulant can become addicting, psychologically or physically. The unhappier you are the more tired you seem and the more you look for energy boosters.I've run into folks who seem to have everything going for them -- a job they love, sufficient cash, good health, nice family and they bounce out of bed in the morning ready to hit the ground running, without caffeine.I secretly despise those people.
notyomama: What utter bullshiat. I was off of caffeine for 3 years because it made me more prone to atrial fibrillation episodes. Recently I started working 3rd shift so I started drinking 1 cup of regular coffee to get me through from midnight to 5 am. The boost is definitely there and you can't tell me it's because of addiction.//Sounds like these "experts" are just trying to justify their grant money.
SumoJeb: Give me caffeine or give me death.

YoOjo: Coffee and caffeine aren't real, like any other drug they are figments of our collective imagination designed by the marketers of the ruling class, deceiving us into a placebo effect feeling of wellness and happiness. We may as well start the day with a steaming cup of pure LSD, it's about as likely to be real as that $5 milk and water concoction you have in a death-grip.Drugs are neither good nor bad, they do not exist.
nmrsnr: Wait, you're supposed to drink your tea in the morning? I thought it was called "teabagging" because you're supposed to dip your balls in it. That always woke me up real quick in the morning.
xanadian: Everything's bad for you, everything will kill you, you may as well stay curled up under your desk until you starve to death.
ChubbyTiger: I don't know about you people, but I'm addicted. One cup is sufficient to keep the headache at bay, but if I miss that cup it isn't a dull headache. Ouch./my only real addiction
MmmCrime: Calling BS. Is it a caffeine pick me up? Yes. But I have one coffee a day during the week, and can go several days without it if I don't have time to pick it up. It isn't like I get headaches like my fiancee (She's totally addicted)
stirfrybry: I drink massive amounts of coffee every day. I never make it at home. I get it at a store. Some days I'm too lazy to go out and get any. On those days I do not have headaches or any other supposed withdrawl syptoms. I call bullshiat
